Ok, here's a totally non-political "what irked you today" story.
I bought an item on ebay the other day (not important what it was, that's irrelevant to the story). Turns out the item was defective. Not the seller's fault, it was a new item still in the factory packaging, but defective nonetheless. So I click the "Return" button and printed out the seller's return label that I am supposed to affix to the box when I return the item. The seller said that they cover the return postage.
So I packaged up the item, printed out the return label, stuck it on the box, and dropped it off at the post office. The label clearly says "First Class Package Return Service" and "No Postage Necessary if Mailed in the United States."
So what do I get delivered to me today? That package with a "Postage Due" sticker on it.
I don't know who I'm supposed to be irked at... the seller or the USPS.
