  1. "Hawaiian pizza" is not pizza. You may like it, but please don't call it "pizza." Once there is fruit on a pizza (and yes I know that a tomato is technically a fruit... ), it ceases to be a pizza. It might taste good, but it aint no pizza! Acceptable pizza toppings (besides cheese and sauce, which are a given): Pepperoni Italian sausage Mushrooms Peppers Onions Tomato slices Heck, even anchovies... Unacceptable pizza toppings: Anything else!
  2. Neon relish is just regular relish (what you call piccalilli), but they put green food coloring in it. I have no idea why, but is is bright green!
  3. Yes, Austrians. The first country Hitler annexed. On March 12, 1938, the independent country of Austria ceased to exist and became part of the Reich.
  4. I agree! I've built that one too, and all the little chrome bits are a challenge! Your foil work looks very clean and sharp.
  5. I hope the French, the English, the Dutch, the Austrians, the Poles, etc. realize how significant D-Day was in their lives.
  6. I tried Tirerack.com, just out of curiosity. Even they showed no results in a search! Man, if Tirerack doesn't have them, nobody does!
  7. Wouldn't a Toyota dealer be able to get the tires?

Like the guys said... use a sharp new blade, and let the tip ride against the edge of the trim as you draw the knife along that edge. It doesn't take much pressure at all, just let the blade follow that edge. Aside from using a new blade, about the only other tip I can give you is to practice. Foiling is something that takes practice to do well, but once you get the hang of it, it's not hard to do. One trick I've found that works for me is to not try too hard to keep the blade tip "in the groove." I know it sounds goofy, but the harder you concentrate and try to keep the blade going along that edge, the harder it seems to be to keep the blade on that edge! I've found that I get the best results if I just relax and let the raised edge of the trim be the blade's guide. If you're relaxed, your grip on the knife will be looser and you'll get a smoother line. I hope that makes sense, it's sort of hard to put into words.
  9. Try a different web browser. Try Chrome or Firefox or Safari. See if that solves the problem. I'm betting it will.

Are you using a sharp blade to trim the foil?
  11. Sunny and 83 here today!
  12. Are you clicking on the "QUOTE" button at the lower right? When you say "nothing happens," what do you mean? Does the reply window open?
  13. I can't believe that anyone got this one, but several of you did. What looks like a combination of several late '50s American cars is actually a Russian car, the 1964-67 SARB Start. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.815664658449666.1073743164.534492069900261&type=3 Who got it right: Badluck13 MikeMc Johnag4004 slusher customsrus Lovefordgalaxie blunc
  14. So you're saying you prefer a corn dog?
  15. Ketchup on a hot dog is like pineapple on a pizza. Not to be done.
  16. What's wrong with you????!!!!
  17. There's no better hot dog than a "Chicago style" hot dog... no ketchup. Ever. Ketchup is for fries. and we have a ton of great spots here.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
  19. I've heard that the Long Island expressway is a real mess during rush hours.
  20. Check the perimeter of the house for rotted sills, especially under porches. Do you have screens on all your windows? If not, maybe you left a window open, that's another possibility. Does the house have an attic with an opening to the rest of the house? Might have a section of the soffit board rotted out or broken. Maybe a missing attic ladder door or one not sealed tightly? Bats don't need a big hole to squeeze through.
  21. I did a google search and found these. http://www.thathobbyplace.com/ambroid-pro-weld-plastic-welder-2o2.html http://www.hiawathahobbies.com/Ambroid-ProWeld-Plastic-Welder-Liquid-Glue--2oz_p_9151.html http://www.squadron.com/Ambroid-Pro-Weld-AMB110-p/amb110.htm
  22. It means posting a new reply to a topic just to "bump" that topic back to the top of the page. So every time he posts "bump," the topic is pushed back up to the top of the list (bumped up). Any new reply bumps a topic back to the top... but doing it yourself, just to keep your topic at the top, is considered bad forum manners.
  23. And don't forget another simple fact: just like any other human activity, some people just have more talent than others. The level of talent of the builders here varies just like the level of talent varies among people everywhere. As others have said, there is always going to be someone who is way better than you at model building, piano playing, playing baseball, singing... whatever. Don't let that inevitable fact affect you. If you don't want to show your work, that's fine, that's your decision. But don't base that decision on feeling inferior to others. Because even the best builders here are inferior to someone else out there somewhere.
  24. A question for you truck guys... why are cabovers used in Europe but pretty much extinct here?
