  1. You're welcome! BTW... if it was me I'd go for the convertible version...
  2. I talked to Dr. Cranky yesterday... the Tallahassee area (and the Florida panhandle in general) got as much as TWO FEET of rain! His property flooded, but not the house. Now that's a rainstorm!
  3. Unfinished 1/8 Monogram Jaguar E-Type...
  4. All you have to do is a google search and read the reviews... http://www.google.com/#q=USB+backlit+keyboards&safe=off&tbm=shop&tbs=cat:303,pdtr0:735121%7C735122,vw:l,price:1,ppr_max:30
  5. Hard to find and not cheap. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=Minichamps+Mercedes+gullwi9ng+coupe+1954&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.XMinichamps+Mercedes+gullwing+coupe+1954&_nkw=Minichamps+Mercedes+gullwing+coupe+1954&_sacat=0
  6. Don't know if this is the "best" one, but it's a very good one (the only one?): http://www.mintmodels.com/1957MERCEDES-BENZ300SLROADSTERW198IIinLIGHTBROWNModelCarin1.aspx
  7. That is very impressive.
  8. You know, that little place next door to the blacksmith's shop and across the street from the VCR store...
  9. Or how the wheels can steer without spindles or any connection to the steering wheel, etc. These "show rod" kits were never known for being realistic or well detailed. They were marketed to kids who didn't know any better and/or couldn't care less about accuracy... as long as there were plenty of shiny plated parts!
  10. That's some pretty nifty brushwork!
  11. Wow! There are some spectacular models in this thread.
  12. Nicely done. Are the front and back FORD logos painted or decals?
  13. Don't know if you're into gardening, but the needles would make a great ingredient in a compost pile.
  14. Future dries quickly. It's water based acrylic, the water in it evaporates as it dries. I've never had a situation where it took days to dry... there must be something more to this story. Like Jeff said... something about what you have under the Future, maybe?
  15. Hmmm.... how many deuce hot rods have you seen? Plenty, I'd bet.
  16. Basically pretty nice, but you need to pay more attention to the details... upper radiator hose doesn't match up to the radiator, headlight lenses are on crooked (the "grid" pattern should be vertical), front bumper is sagging, etc... You have the basics down, now you just need to be a little more careful with the "little things."
  17. Try installing a different web browser.
  18. Ditto. Burning pine in a fireplace or stove is not good. Too resinous, burns hot and fast, doesn't last. Hey... that rhymes!
  19. If what you're looking for is more control, you need a dual-action airbrush. Even the best single-action can't offer the control of even the cheapest dual-action airbrush.
  20. General Lee speaking, this topic doesn't interest me...
  21. They make excellent back scratchers.
