  1. The poster originally said "help me make some people understand." That won't work. You can't force your opinion on others.
  2. Jacen is absolutely right. Trying to force others to do things to conform to the way you want them to do it is a losing battle from the start.
  3. Simple. Like any auction, someone is willing to pay more than the other guy for the item. The price is driven up, usually past the point of "real" worth. You "win" an auctioned item by outbidding everyone else. It's how auctions work, no mystery there.
  4. You're not going to find any material that has a natural looking in-scale drape because that material would have to be 25 times thinner than a "real" tarp. No such thing. The paper towel/tissue paper/newspaper soaked in a water/white glue mix is the tried and true method of creating realistic in-scale tarps.
  5. That's a beautiful little model! Well done.
  6. Like they said. Unbelievable level of detail for such a small model. Great work!
  7. Who knows? Maybe they were the only ones to actually apply for the TM?
  8. Exactly what I was thinking!
  9. That's the problem... not much 1/8 aftermarket stuff out there except for Pocher. Most of us 1/8 builders just scratchbuild what we need.
  10. Sju sjuksköterskor skötte sju sjösjuka sjömen på skeppet Shangai.
  11. That's Gregg's pet project, you'd have to ask him.

  13. There are a few here: http://thehawkandbuzzard.blogspot.com/2009/08/old-model-car-box-art.html Do a google search. That's how I found that one. It took all of 30 seconds.
  14. How do you figure that?
  15. Chrysler markets their divisions as their own brands, so the correct term would be "Jeep Wrangler" or "Jeep Whatever," not "Chrysler Jeep Whatever." After all, you don't call a Dodge Charger a "Chrysler Dodge Charger."
  16. Sure looks like it.
  17. The month is listed on every cover... under the word "Model" in the logo.
  18. We agree on that point!
  19. Careful! Lizzie Borden axed her parents and got away with it, but you might not be as lucky...
  20. Yeah, I kind of already figured that out...
  21. For some reason, crows love shiny stuff. They gather up shiny things they find and take them back to their nest. Nobody knows why.

    What if...?

    I'd love to see it!
  23. No, they're not shiny chrome. They're shiny carbon fiber! BTW... what is it with you and shiny? Were you a crow in a past life?
  24. ??? Did you look at the picture?
  25. It's been hard for me to piece together an accurate timeline... there is a lot of incomplete and/or conflicting information out there. I base my dates on this translated history of Pocher, written by Giovanni Ingrao. According to this, the first MB kit was released in 1975. Pocher history (new translation).pdf
