  1. Added different mirrors (Agent 47) since...
  2. Final vote: 22 Real, 27 Model. Gotcha! It's real!
  3. Seeing as how they were recycling 50's era music, weren't they really 30 years behind their time???
  4. By now everyone has heard the complaints about Reliable resin. If you had good service from them in the past, then keep on buying from them. If you feel like you got screwed by them, then stop buying from them. Is that really so hard to comprehend? Enough with these childish rants, it's really getting old.
  5. I know. It was a joke. Oh well... I'm no Jay Leno, I guess...
  6. Not bad at all for a first model... but you need to read the manual and learn how to take in-focus photos!
  7. Isn't "Ferrari" Italian for " fire?"
  8. Looks great, correct side trim or not...
  9. As you can see, the texture is slight. In scale that texture would be pretty much invisible. Flocking a scale model dash would be the equivalent of a shag rug in 1:1 scale.
  10. Hmmm.... contest-quality models, 3D graphics, writing... you're a pretty talented guy! How do you find the time? Are there more than 24 hours in a day in your world? Or have you just given up on sleeping?
  11. Thanks, Romell. It took me a while to get the hang of Photoshop, but now that I know it inside and out, there's nothing I can't create with it.
  12. I don't think I've ever seen a dash with carpet on it. Why would you flock a dashboard?
  13. That's the beauty of models... you can cut up a Gullwing with no regrets!
  14. Click on the button: Fill out the info: Total time: Approx. 10 seconds.
  15. Zero cents per day for Photobucket fits my budget even better...
  16. 500MB is plenty storage capacity for me.
  17. Craig's List has a Help section. Did you try it?
  18. I've used Photobucket for years. Never had a problem, and it's free. And I've never seen a "pop up" ad. Yes, they have static ads, but if I can get free photo hosting in exchange for an ad or two on their home page... fine by me! I have to wonder why people will pay for Fotki when they can get the same from Photobucket for free??? Oh well, it's your money, guys.
  19. After what he posted (and I deleted), an apology was definitely necessary.
  20. A sedan delivery and a panel van are steel-bodied, a woodie has external (exposed) wood structure.
  21. My "high tech" equipment consists of a Dremel tool, the only power tool I use. The rest are files, sandpaper, X-acto knife... the usual stuff we all have. And despite my lack of a fully equipped machine shop, I think I do ok. Sure, there are things I can't do without a lathe or a milling machine... but that doesn't stop me from building detailed models.
  22. I loved the smell of Testor's tube glue. I also love the smell of gas. And of course I love the smell of napalm in the morning...
  23. If you ever visited the makeup aisle of your favorite store looking for the right shade of nail polish for your next model...
  24. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do!
