  1. Another nice one Jean Claude.
  2. Very nice Jean Claude... You really like those COE's.
  3. Welcome to our plastic playground Tim.
  4. Welcome to our plastic playground Bryan.
  5. I've sent parts to Forum members and haven't requested or needed anything in return. It seems that "What goes around, comes around", as I've requested parts in the WANT section and have received several items as "gifts" from members. I once requested a part and received it, but never received an answer from that member as to what he wanted in return. As has been said, I'll continue to help people out when I may have the parts they need. The few trades I've done with people have all worked out very well.
  6. I've knocked over a bottle of Tenax 7 and wound up using the plastic cap from a can of Duplicolor paint as a holder for it, as someone on this Forum had suggested. Turn the cap upside down and put the Tenax bottle into the small round center section where the spray can tip would go... the Tenax bottle fits perfectly. I don't think the Ambroid bottle is the same size but if so, it could work.
  7. Only one month to go...
  8. I also use Tamiya Tape to mask the edges of the first color, then cover the rest of the first color with the Blue painters tape. Steve's suggestion of spraying first with White Primer, then masking off the roof, spraying the color coat on the rest of the body, then finally unmask everything and spray your clearcoat on the whole thing is an excellent suggestion.
  9. The usual method is to paint the lighter color first (If the roof is White, paint that first). Then when the paint has fully dried, mask off the roof using painters blue masking tape (as Ray suggested above) and then paint the body.
  10. This is looking really great Johan.
  11. The magazine is mailed in a polybag?
  12. Ismael, I love the Lowrider "Bombs" and you nailed this one. Great job.
  13. I also received the #200 issue in a polybag and what a surprise that was. Thanks a lot Gregg.
  14. Great job Paul, it looks really great.
  15. Thank you guys. Yes Dirk, barring any unforeseen circumstances, this car will be put in the NNL East Theme Class on April 16th.
  16. Welcome to our plastic playground Randal.
  17. I finally won a 1955 Plymouth promo on EBAY. I got sniped in the last 10 seconds on the first 2 that I tried bidding on, but finally got lucky on the 3rd one.
  18. You've got a great bunch of guys there Tom. You should be proud of them.
  19. Yep...... It works great. Just apply it fairly liberally to the glue joints and let it sit for awhile... should come right apart for you.
  20. Thanks very much everyone. I'm glad you all liked it.
  21. Yes, a gorgeous car with yards and yards of chrome and stainless trim.
  22. Thanks again fellas. Mitch, I've never been into race cars of any type, and after the length of time it took just to do the decals on this, I think I'll pass on doing anymore. This was just a crazy idea I've had brewing for many years.
  23. Welcome to our plastic playground Michael. Your models look very good.
