  1. This turned out wonderful. Even though it's a cartoon, and it IS making me laugh, it's the high level of craftsmanship that gives me the giggles ! Truly a work of art. Thanks, lra. Bart.
  2. Looks sharp. Nice period piece. I can't recall a kit with opening suicide doors. But l didn't build very many Deuces.
  3. Very nice. Hard to believe this beauty rolled out in a week.

l've always liked these cars, too. Very nice build. Never new this was kitted. You did it justice.
  5. VERY, Very sharp. Looks like you got this model building thing down! Any more in the finished pile?
  6. This is SO sweet! I don't know where to start. I like everything about it.
  7. Awesome cockpit!
  8. Very cool! When I got back in the hobby about 8 months ago, one of the 1st things l did was steal about 3 ft. of white thread from my wife. tied it to a hanger & sprayed it yellow then ran it between my thumb & fore finger to "set" the paint in. l now had plug wires. l quickly discovered pre-wired dizzys, but still have my 3 ft. of yellow plug wire....just in case, lol!
  9. Beautiful! So many subtle mods it's hard to put my finger on what you did. Exactly how a great custom is supposed to be! I'm impressed with the door panels & your rear end treatment. I love the whole thing. Do l spy some "Crazyscale" parts?
  10. .....HEY! l thought that was me!!!!
  11. Looking good, Mike. Hope to see it underglass soon. Bart.
  12. Can't be done with this (lack of) equipment.
  13. l partied with Pantera back in the late 80s early 90s when they were younger too. Great people, great cars.
  14. Very imaginative. l'm impressed.
  15. VERY good point. Since l got back into the hobby 8 months ago-after a 30 year break-I've had a lot of help & a lot of gifts. I do my best to pay it forward every chance l get. lt's very rewarding in many different ways. Jesse, sorry l don't do NASCAR, but you have a lot of support here. Keep it up! Bart.
  16. Ira, that is pure COOL! Love the Italian power plant. Plenty of glass to view it through as well. Excellent choice. Maybe some Ferrari wire wheels to tie it in?
  17. I like this. l got a built up in the mail recently. very sharp kit & yours looks very cool.
  18. Depends alot on what accessories you're running & what you're putting it in. '66 Nova has a pretty nice carbed sb. Beatnik Bandit 2 has a real nice LT-1 f.i. engine with great block hugger headers.
  19. The only thing that would make it more enjoyable to me would be to have a "classic" competition & a "contemporary" competition. Nascar fell out of favor with me in the mid '70s. Pretty much drag racing too. I would spend a LOT of time in a "Classic Competition" section. I understand l'm probably in the minority here, but the current thread about Gassers could have possibly went without as much friction with a set up like this. I'm sure it would be more work for you & the moderators as well, but a guy can dream. Bart.
  20. I think it looks fine.
  21. Yeah, & quick too.
  22. These are the kinds of gestures that makes the styrene brotherhood strong & helps keep the hobby alive. Amen to all who are in a position to help this young modeler keep the glue flowing & paint flying! Bart.
  23. Nice car. I like the 2-tone blues.
  24. Hve you thought of using NASCAR tires? The ones I've seen could easily pass for drag slicks. Just a thought. Bart.
