  1. I've been wondering what to do with this kit for years now. Seems I overlooked the obvious, lol.
  2. Wow! Just wow. I'm a BIG '60s Mopar fan, & this makes me drool.
  3. I followed along with you on this & I love it. The oh so subtle chop leaves the casual observer scratching his head. Beautiful work.
  4. OH BOY, this is looking good enough to drive away when you're done!
  5. I'll be watching this with much interest. I have a similar project with more parts swapping & less scratching. Never thought of stretching the frame, I "cheated" & used a different one. Very nice work so far.
  6. Ripping down the 1320 with class!
  7. What a land yacht! I like your choice for motorvation. Nice layout.
  8. Don't know how I missed this, glad I'm up to date. Whoever said pro-street is dead? Still going strong on my bench! Looking forward to more.
  9. Looking very cool, Chuck. Love your new avatar as well!
  10. Very nice engine, Mike. I can almost smell high-test! The wheels are perfect now & they also give us a sneak-peak at the accent color for the body. This is gonna be so cool.
  11. I love it. Sometimes, foreplay is over-rated! Just do it!
  12. Wow! Looks even better than I imagined. You couldn't have planned it, but seems like a great tribute to Mr. Shelby.

    Caddy lowrider

I usually don't comment on lowriders OR Caddys, but wow! This is a beautiful model. Nice job.
  14. I sure don't want to ruffle any feathers, but when people use thumbnails l can actually see them better bacause they enlarge to the full size of my phone screen. Then l can actually zoom on that & see more detail yet. On "normal" posts l am stuck viewing a 1"X 1" picture with not much detail. l understand it's my problem l don't have a computer, but this is supposed to be about models, not computers, right?
  15. I love this kit! l built a few in the '70s. lt was one of my 1st that came with opening doors. Yours is looking hot!
  16. Wow! A blast from the past, eh? l'm glad you dug this back out so some of us newbies could share. Looks fantastic so far!
  17. Very nice. Understated elegance in black. Reminds me of a tuxedo t-shirt. You wanna look nice, but having fun is more important. I love it!
  18. Love the orange on the body. I think color matched wheel centers look good in most cases. When you're talking gunmetal, l don't see how you can go wrong!
  19. When l was in the 8th grade the principal of our middle school started a model club for the students. We met in the science room every friday after school for an hour. It gradually grew from a handful of us to a room full of young builders. lt can be done with dedicated tutors like your friend. Good luck with your project, l hope it works out well for the kids.
  20. ........Attaboy Geordi ! I've been wondering if anyone was ever gonna reply to the thread title.
  21. l think you did a fine job. very nice detailing & color choices.
  22. .......Ditto !
