I love mid '60s Mopars & have 3 '64 Dodges in my stash. I love seeing them built, & yours are great examples of what can be done with them. I really like the details in both cars. Fine job all around.
Very nice change of pace, Scott. Looks like a well used station shop truck. I have the original issue (green truck on box) that l have no definite plans for. Might try a little weathering after seeing this.
I guess l need to get Tmiya tape. Trying my 1st multi-color paint job in many years, & the blue tape does not leave crisp edges! At any rate, again, beautiful results.
Boy, Scott. This one came in under the radar! Very authentic. This is the most colorful one yet. Any trouble with the two-tone paint? what did you mask it with? I hope you don't run out of shelf room!
l bought one "on the cheap" to get the engine, susp. & interior for future projects. l've used the grille & headlights on a custom project already. Depending on what you like to build, there are some nice parts in it.
Yes Sir! The stance is perfect. l'll have to remember to invert the spindles when l get to this one. lt's lookin' real good, Mike. The 2-tone does wonders for it.
......The best idea l've heard all year! Scott, you've done yourself proud once again. Can almost hear & smell it. Beautiful build. Please keep 'em coming. Bart.
Beautiful truck, James! l followed this one all the way, so no surprises here. I would not have thought of green, but the perfect fade makes this one look like $$$. Literally! Also the color of envy. Very fitting.
I have checked this out. Definitely not a straight forward swap. the body lines are very different between the 2 roof types on each of the Mopar bodies in '64 & '65.
Just curious. I'm really digging this build, but I'm having trouble making out color & details. l'm wondering if it might show up better on a lighter surface? The car is so dark that it's almost blending into the dark surface it's on. What l can see still looks awesome though!
Very nice. One of my favorite cars & kits. Got one on the back burner now (kit, unfortunately). The white top is an unusually nice touch. Welcome to the forum!
