  1. Glad I have my own hobby shop at home. With over 2000 kits collected over some 60 years I'm still OK for awhile. Price wise that is!!! I think
  2. I would agree with Cobraman, Debonder is the way to go but, unless you have some ,you'll have to get it at a hobby shop or craft store when they open.
  3. Sorry Harry, But there is still one more to go. Danbury is still offering a '35 or '36 Ford stocker in 1/16th scale and that's it, no more !! I'm still trying to understand why? Must have been extra parts
  4. Well guys I really don't know what to say about your not being able to obtain most of the original cars in this thread. I must be missing something because I have most of them except the Manta Ray. and the Cheetah. But the Cheetah is available in resin. Most of these are not kits but Diecast from The Danbury Mint. I have the California Kid, The Little Deuce Coupe and the McMullen Roadster plus several others. Butttttt....The Danbury Mint is almost gone now so it could be somewhat difficult to pick these up in the future.
  5. Any Idea of a release date??? Like to make into a coupe !
  6. Anybody out there know if Shabo transfers are still in business? I havn't heard anything about them in quite some time.
  7. It gives me the idea of what I always thought about the ridler award. Not much !
  8. The box may say 1/25th but if you measure it out or compare it to other kits it's bigger, closer to 1/24
  9. Casey are you using the treadplate on a truck? I tried it on a jeep and although the pattern is great, the thickness is way too thick. I've had to sand it from the back side more than 50% to bring it closer to scale. . Anyone out there know of a thinner tread plate?
  10. I just recently ordered some tires and wheels from BNL. I'll let everyone know the quality and time it took to get them. I ordered on 2/24 and haven't received them yet. Looking forward though !!!
  11. Wow Mick ! you are the man !!! Have you ever purchased anything from Archer and if so, how did it go ?
  12. Sorry guys, Didn't see this thread At least it answered my question. NO LUCK!!!
  13. Does anyone know of a company that makes decals for under the hood. I don't mean engine sizes or air cleaner decals and such. I looking for the decals on the firewall and radiator that you can't read. The little black & white ones with tiny letters. does anyone make a whole sheet of those. I'm always looking for them and can never find them !!!
  14. I got mine for $10.00. again, another hobby shop closing
  15. Anybody out here make a resin kit of of these pickups? Short bed preferred.
  16. Has anyone ever heard of this aftermarket company ? On ebay, someone is selling what appears to be an old set of wheels from this place. I was wondering if they're still in business.
  17. Bummer !!! Just when they get something good they do away with it
  18. William, I got mine at Sears in the tool dept.$ 67.00 In the Pacific Northwest we have a large dept.store Called Fred Meyers. They also have them there. $65.00
  19. Just to muddy the waters more. In Oregon we register for two years and up to four years for a new car, and the month and years stickers are put on the bottom of the plate. So the sticker is not always for the current year. Just sometimes, every once and while, maybe. sort of !!!
  20. Auyone know of anybody making fender flares out of resin or flexable? I'm building a replica CJ5 that needs them. The new Revell Rubicon flares will not work. Help !!!
  21. I agree with Dale and Jim, the stylus is definitely the way to go. I have two other dremel tools, even the one on a cable and don't use either one.I've had it for more than two years and it's still going strong. I can do more with it and faster than other dremel I've had.
