  1. No, but I know what your talking about. but that was awhile ago and I think they were bought out and a new company took over
  2. Hers a few more if I can get them to work.
  3. Andrew, First off let me say I'm a Crazy perfectionist. It took me 4 years of research and building to complete my Ala Kart. I even contacted the owner and Mr. Barris. There are many, many things that need to be modified, scratchbuilt or changed. But then again I'm crazy but I wanted It to be right. The kit has no air bag system, the tono cover is incomplete and mounts wrong, there is no brake detail at all. The engine oil filler stem is on the wrong side of the engine. Plus much more. Many items were scratchbuilt because they don't come in the kit. Yes It's a lot of hard work but for me it was well worth it because I just love this car and wanted to do it right. It rewarded me Best in Class at the GSL.
  4. Can you amagine who would win if we had the only space suits
  5. Make it alot easyer with pics !

  7. Hey harry, Do you know anything about Barnes & Noble thing? If and when it goes to B&N will all stores get it or just the big stores in major cities. and, when thats suppose to happen. Because ours doesn't have it either.
  8. You know Casey, Now that you mention that name it strikes a bell. It might have been the twister Vega. But It was a brand new kit, not an old one just put on the shelf. I'm going there again this weekend. It probbably won't be there but I will LOL!!!
  9. I was in a LHS about a month ago and saw a new reissue of the Vega kit . I didn't buy it but now wished I had. Any one know about it?
  10. The biggest problem you have with this conversion is the Dashboard. in the 59 Retractable it's moulded to the front end of the car and really shaped funny. Another thing to keep in mind is the retractable is really 1/24th scale.
  11. Oh yea, What I like most about the kit is the folding hood
  12. $33.00 bucks !!! ? WOW !!! I have three of them and never paid over $22.00 for any of them. One I think I got for $18.00. Sorry Chuck but I think you might want to look somewhere else for a better price. Did that price include shipping charges?
  13. It isn't just Ebay. Look what AMT wants for just a set of tires !!!!!
  14. I've got the 41 willys pickup and the 29 Ford pickup
  15. Also ther were four years of the Model A and only one of the 32. Now that most or many of the 32's are taken there's only model A's left. Don't get me wrong A's are still cool ! BUT.....I'm still a chevy guy !
  16. Many years ago I switched from small brushes to Liner brushes. They work much better. I also shop at Michaels they usually have a good supply.
  17. Contact MCW (Model Car World) They pretty much have all the factory colors in model size bottles
  18. When someone mentions so many "32 Ford kits it brings to mind a friend of mine. He actually has 109 DIFFERENT '32 Ford kits. Or at least the box art is different. Needless to say he likes '32 Fords !!!
  19. The same tire is in the IMC Chapperal 2E kit.
