  1. Hey Frank, The last issue was a 46-47-48 Fleetline. This is the same 46-47-48, but its the coupe, not the fastback. But the fastback has also been reissued but with the woody option if you like !
  2. YES!!!!!!!! On the 5 spoke 17" inchers would be really great if they were chromed !!!YES,YES,YES !!! Please keep us posted Mark !!
  3. Hey Robert, Check out the 62 Pontiac By AMT for the button tuft. I think you'll like it !
  4. I'll post it here if I can I would love to see a decal set for hot rods & customs Everyone makes the for racing but for us rod guys we are left out, or have to make our own. I would like to see custom dash gauges and much smaller product decals such as Fram, Mobile, cam shaft companies etc. Most are to big to put on electric fuel pumps, windshields, dashes etc. How about Gas, Oil and Water names for the old cans that were in the trunks on 50's customs. Engine valve cover names like Cadillac, Buick, Hot Rod, Oldsmobile, etc. How about dash board gauges with flames in them. ( pretty tough to do) And pinstriping for door panels edges and or dashboards. Scale 45 rpm Records for display on your seat. (Stick the decal to .005 plastic and you got it) Hope some of this helps.
  5. See my other post Robert under VRM two our three spots down It covers a long list of items !
  6. Too bad your not going further back. We need them there too !

  8. At least with our Hobby Lobby, they Never get just released kits. It's usually a couple of months later after the release. If they get it at all !!
  9. Last issue for me was the January issue ! #192 !! Is there a February Issue?
  10. Anybody know when issue 193 is due out? Haven't seen one in a long time !
  11. It hasn't shown at ours (Hobby Lobby) either. Still the same kits as when it opened a few months back !! In stead of getting new stuff they just keep replacing what they already have. Grrrrrrr!!
  12. Tim ! I may have missed something here, but you mentioned fuel cell and trunk mounted Battery. Does that mean the trunk lid opens ?
  13. Hey Jarius! Does it come with the woody option or is it just decals or did they drop it ?
  14. Thanks Tim for keeping My Hopes up ! Not real sure about the time frame of the eighties, but after wrestling with my mind I believe it was around the late eighties. I was real tight with our local hobby shop at the time and the owner gave me a list of new and reissues to come and I was ecstatic to see the Astro 1 on the list. But as usual, never saw it again. But it was on the list from AMT. At the time, I think I checked with the hobby shop weekly , ,
  15. One kit I have been waiting on for more than 25 Years for AMT to reissue is the Astro 1 show car. They announced sometime in the eighties that they were going to reissue it, but never did. Just another disappointment ! On another note! About the rock. In this day in age, they would probably would have arrested you for breaking and entering !!!
  16. Just for your information, Modelhaus has a '38 conversion for this kit !
  17. They're all the same Engine & Chassis with a different building on top of it !!
  18. I recently picked up a copy of Finescale Modeler and in it was an advertisement in regard to this kit By AMT Kit #916 and It indicated it's available now . I went to AMT site and there is no mention of it and no key word would work. Anyone know anything about this kit?? I wish they would reissue the Astro 1 show car but they keep bouncing around it. many years ago they indicated they were going to reissue it but never did. Anybody know if it's possible it could happen?
  19. I just have to ask ! Are there any figures in this issue like on the box art?
  20. Lets get back to the subject of the Nailhead. I vote for at least a dozen. How about the rest of you? !!!
  21. Is he quiting business or selling molds or what ? Does anybody know?
  22. That doesn't surprise me, ! Thanks
  23. Does anyone make the chrome for this pickup? Grill, side emblems etc.
  24. Wow ! I have never thought of that ! That explains a lot for me. Thanks Tom. That really makes a ton of sense. Although, It seems that I 'm attached to more than 1% of modelers
  25. If you need anything let me know or PM me. I have tons of old kit and old school wheels and hubcaps. Been doing this more than 60 yrs
