  1. Thanks very much everyone. I had fun building it.
  2. If it were me, I wouldn't clear it. I have had better luck kith non metallic Tamiya paints by just adding one more colour coats and polishing it. Especially white. It lessens the chance of the clear yellowing over time. I have also had better luck with testors wet look clear over Tamiya stuff than their own clear. I'm sure you will be fine either way though. You have this build going the right direction for sure!
  3. It's a beautiful subframe with a little work yup. I have used it on a couple hot rod builds. Fits perfect under 48-52 ford pickups
  4. The originals have sink marks on fender tops directly over headlights. Drivers was worst if I recall. And it took some good blocking on the roof to knock down a bump where the dome light is. I also found on that styrene the dupli color primer would ghost the headliner detail to the roof top if applied too heavy at first. This is a trick I found though ( now tell me if I sound crazy, I am medicated! Lol) if you put the primer on the inside of the body first, the ghosting from mold lines and everything goes to the INSIDE!! I then primed the outside with no issues! Do it all the time now. I tried it with emblems that I sanded off and it worked flawlessly for me! Weird hey?
  5. I have a few of shuckys prochargers, I still have one cog drive setup left like on my super bee. You are welcome to it if you slap it on here
  6. Oh yeah. I forgot you are using the corrected body.
  7. That is just fantastic Jim! I have few of these and a few of the Z/28s all original issues so molded in that tan. I have started a couple but never finished! I may have to rethink that. They are very nice kits minus a few sink and high spots on the body. I do quite like the headliner detail they put in
  8. The wheels and stance... Wheels are convo pros with blacked out centres
  9. Well guys, I figure I had a good night! I did what I could feeling like I do. Lol. Anyway, I got the procharger mocked up and got a good part of the mount done. I studied some install pics and I think it will look pretty good once it's all dialed in. I also did a little work on my rims and got the stance dialed in. Thanks for looking
  10. Yup the olive drab works just fine! Keep up the great work
  11. A couple of the mustang tuners have already picked up their 15 stangs. One has already been tinkering with the 2.3 and expect a reliable 500rwhp once it's dialed in fully. I have been watching and the little guy will carve up the corners with ease and scare most people on the freeway! Same shop is also slapping a 3.6 kenne bell on the 5.0. This has been done forever but they have to develop a kit for the new car. I myself will wait for the svt variant to park next to the others
  12. Awesome! I love ford GTs. 2 guys I know have them. One is black/ silver and the other guy has 2!! One he drives that is red/ white and the other that has never been driven in his ownership since new is the heritage in the gulf baby blue/ orange
  13. They work great. I buy clearance nascar kits just to get them. I am making the procharger brackets this evening. It's tight!
  14. That looks great. I had those seats plus the matching rear in mine but thought the headrests looked too close to the roof ( no roof jokes please) did you cut yours down at the bottom at all?
  15. Wow! That is a ton of styrene work on those seats. Beautiful
  16. Thanks guys. The rear tires are just some sanded down monogram nascar slicks. I use them quite a bit
  17. Awesome! Do you stretch the rear wheel wells on your builds? What slicks do you use?
  18. That is looking so good. I don't think you can call it the track rat anymore. It deserves shiny paint as it's looking like a top notch track day car
  19. The flex fan on the restored car is red/white/ blue as well correct?
  20. I believe it should actually be ford blue on the sox cars
  21. Great colour combo
  22. Go for it! I find the build threads keep me motivated to finish builds!
  23. Thanks Jim. Your camaro is coming beautifully as well. I just gotta get feeling better
  24. I was stumped on what to do next, I think I found it. I have been on a run of quick street racer type cars and I think this one will please. No roll racing for this vette! This one is sure to hurt some feelings on the street. Here is a peek. Comments or ideas welcome
