  1. Beautiful take on a great kit. I may add one rid bit of info for you. It's the kits mistake and not yours. There were 3 cobra jets for 70. Only the j code super cobra jet got the oil cooler on the rad support but they were ram air only. Meaning it had to have the shaker. The c and n code 429s did not get the oil cooler but could get the shaker.
  2. Those are gorgeous Harry!! I can't pick a favorite but that gold one is sahweeeet
  3. That's awesome! A set of plug wires would have put it over the top!
  4. Coming along very nicely. Chuck a oil dipstick on there and I would say you got it. Years ago I did a pink one that turned out great. I sold it though. I better do another
  5. That's a clean notch! I had a dark blue 90 for a while.
  6. Part of it is the weenie 275 tires on it. Won't be the last hello kitty we see piled up. Google wrecked c7 z06. Same thing. Takes some skill to drive a car that can't turn. Lol. I must say though it's amazing what you can get used to. I thought my 540 hp shelby was a handful until I got my 14. It was crazy! For a couple months, now it's 740 at the tires and it's not enough!!
  7. I need a cyclone
  8. Well, let's see it! Can't just leave us hanging! Lol
  9. You had me until the big block chevy Jason! Should look good
  10. Awesome! I didn't like the wing anyway...
  11. Good start. If I may offer some suggestion on your hemi. The plug wires are too big and shouldn't be all over the place. I think the wire you chose is more suited for the plug boots. A little detail on the alternator would liven it up. Feel free to check out my duster build. I used the dart hemi. Even though my intake and valve covers are different it's the same basic engine.
  12. Thanks guys. I have used several techniques for fins. These particular covers were in sad shape when I found them. I stripped the heavy yellowed Chrome to get the fin detail back and so I could fill the large sink marks on the ends. I then painted them black and let them cure. The fins then could have gone 2 ways. First I used a dry rush of testors silver on these ones. I went one way then the other to get good coverage with a very fine brush. The alternative is to mask either side of the fin group and paint the whole section silver. After that's dry I put a water based black wash in and then wipe off. A 3rd way is paint cover, foil fin area then do a black wash and wipe off fins while still wet. Just play with whatever covers you want to do. Can't really screw them up. Hope that helps
  13. I have been following that build. Just an fyi. No coyote engines in 2010. No supercharged coyotes period. That engine is the 5.4 from the old modular family still. Shares no architecture with the 5.0 coyote in the 2011up mustang. The 5.4 was used in the blown shelby from 2007-2012 with minor changes. Then trinity came for 13/14. It still is 5.4 modular beginnings but with spray bore technology it's now a 5.8 modular but still shares nothing with the coyote. The boss 302 of modern times is a coyote variant called roadrunner and the new gt350 gets a revving to the moon flat plane crank 5.2 that is called voodoo. Just thought I would share. If you need I can go out to the garage and get whatever engine pics you need of the 5.4 or the 5.8 shelby engines
  14. Well there I learned something today. Nevermind. Lol I just went and looked. Easier to start with a camaro for sure. Didn't realize they were so different. Anyway, what I was getting at was that maybe it's time for one of these in new form
  15. I could sure use that vinyl top body! Great save
  16. That would be good even. Do you know anything about the T/A parts fit on the RM body? Seems like a cut and paste conversion to me for the current 68. Just an extra tree of parts no? Basically it would be the hood, spoiler, nose and fender vent scoops. Likely an interior pattern change?
