That's true. I've learned from restoring stuff that what is original and correct to one car could be just a little different on an otherwise identical car. Things were pretty loosey goosey back then lol -
You would need the c6. Best place to find a factory bulletproof c6 that won't cost much is behind a 460 in an old econline van or f250/350 from the late 70s early 80s. They have extra bands, clutch packs and cooling capacity. I used one in a 460 fox mustang swap. I have a couple more stowed away in the collection

I have that reference picture too. I also looked at others and some original unrestored cars. The main reason I am doubting the all black is that from all the big three the resivoir and cap are usually natural finishes due to the fact brake fluid eats paint very quickly. I'm sure what you have done will look good. I find the various finishes help in scale since the parts are so small -
Good little trans there. The fmx is a big heavy beast. You could build a sweet c4 but I am a die hard cars have 3 pedals guy

It's not. There was no specific time frame so that it didn't create a hard line and hard feelings. Know what I mean? Everyone involved has lives outside of the hobby and life does get in the way. The whole build has had good transparency and we all know where it's at. I will have an engine update with pics today

To be correct there are about 4 different color finishes on the master cylinder setup. Some restorations show it all black but that's not quite accurate. Booster should be semi gloss black, resivoir should be an iron grey, cap should be a anodized gold and the cap clip silver. Some cars the check valve is white, some painted and on these cars there is a round orange paint daub above the check valve on the booster if you really wanna get serious. My recommendation is if you are not going to do all the paint daubs and chalk mArks throughout the car don't do any. I tend to do them on my mudtang and torino builds but I know the cars inside out through my other more expensive hobby so it's easy for me lol -
You sound a lot like me! I have stuff I think I will get to at some point. My wife sees it differently. Lol

Lol! You really think that vette engine has no egr, air injection or converters? My 14 gt500 is 662 hp stock and has egr,air injection which btw is part of the egr, full converters and it also knocks down high twenties as in 6th gear at 65 mph it's revving 1600rpm -

Oh guys, an auto hellkitty is 4490 lbs btw. There is no way to take 1000 out of it. And maintain a price point. Here is an example, the new gt350r. It will cost over twice a fully equipped gt350 and the R lost the following items. A/C, radio, rear seat. It also got some carbon body work and is the first domestic production car to wear carbon fibre wheels. How much lighter is it? 130lbs!! That's it! Keep in mind that it's fully street legal. That's what safety, emissions and electrical gizmos weigh. So to take 1000 lbs out of a modern car is just impossible and maintain a price point.... Or is it? The 15 f150 overall is 700 lbs lighter than an equally equipped 14 model due to the use of an all aluminum body. Did you know that modern mustang door crash beams are over 20 lbs a piece? Now factor in the 6-10 airbags most vehicles have now. -

Here's what I know about the Eco turds Ford is building. This is real world first hand info. It's not debatable and its not third part info. I had a 2011 f150 4x4 with a 5.0. My brother in law had the same truck with an ecoboost. We made the same trip on the same day at the same time. I averaged 3.5 mpg better than him. I bug him because he paid more to have that engine. We kept track over time and mine was consistently better. His was in shop constantly with sensors and turbo issues. Score 1 for 5.0. Jump ahead. I got a 14 f150 that was the same as the 11 for the most part, again with the 5.0. My brother in law also got a 14 same as his old one, again Eco boost. His dealer assured him the 14 was better... Round 2. We again loaded up families and went on a trip. Again I got better mileage and up to this point of ownership mine is better all around! His is suffering issues and he is not happy. So the Eco BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH is not all it's cracked up to be. Last year a couple dealers in my area switched to getting more v8s in stock because they get good mileage and are more reliable. Oh btw. If you read the fine fine print in the brochure of f150s where it states est mileage, when they tested the 5.0 it was ran at 100km/h and the Eco boost was ran at 77km/h. So it's creative marketing at its finest -

If you look at past articles from these guys you will also see they were way wrong on the 2015 mustang AND the gt350. Only time will tell -

Just go spend some time on the f150 forums and you will soon see at what cost the Eco boost makes power. They don't live very long and don't get the milage they are supposed to. My last 2 f150s I went with the 5.0. It's better on fuel in all areas to all my Eco boost buddies and it's never been in the shop for work. That article is sort of a hype builder to raise awareness of the new Eco beast as they call it. It's marketing plain and simple! Word on the Ford street on svtp and team shelby is there is a v8 ecoboost in the wings so not to worry boys. while Ford has been clear the v8 will go away it won't be for a decade. As far as EPA guidelines etc, they are an across the board average and always have been. That means if x amount of super efficient vehicles are made that allows a few that are not. That equals some low production fun cars. It's not all doom and gloom -

I know what it's called. This time I had the parts before I knew what I was going to do with them so it's not exactally the same. I started with a set of wheels, not a kit wondering what wheels it should have. -

Here is a quick look at stance and some of the period parts I will be using. Color is up in the air. I have an idea but I'm open to suggestion. The wheel centres will be lightened up a bit
