Thanks very much guys. I could see it in my head but didn't know how it was going to come out. It's a pretty nice kit overall. Couple little fit snags but it went pretty smoothly.

Got some work done on this one. It's stiiing on all fours. Got the stance where I want it. Another test fit of the mill to see if the pan and headers clear. They do! Yay. On we go!

Thanks guys. Yes I did have trouble with the front decal. Tons of setting solution, a Q tip and a hair dryer got it to play nice.

Well guys, now that the Camaro is in the books it's time to hammer this one out. Updates this evening with any luck. I got the Dana 60 from the dart narrowed to move the springs inboard, the whole rear half of the chassis was reworked to do this. The spare tire well and fuel tank had to go. I will be building a tank and the car will have a full 3" exhaust ending in stock tips as I love that look. Cage is started but I'm not very good at them yet

Hey everyone. I got this one off the bench this afternoon. It's the new RM camaro. I built this with a bit of a back story. It goes something like this, a young man with deep pockets got a brand new SS396 in 67. After falling in love with the car he wanted to go faster as bigger badder stuff came out. He did not want to part with his beloved 67 so he did what any hot rodder would do. He built a nice street machine. He added big and little torque thrusts, slapper bars for traction, I nicer wood steering wheel but the big news came from under the hood. He had aquired an all aluminum 427 and put it in there with a few goodies like headers, valve covers and air filter setup. I was after a nice street machine from say around 1970. How did I do?

Thanks guys. The color is GM Santa fe tan. It's more yellow than tan. I think it's going the way I saw it in my head. Should be an update tonight. I'm still fighting the long hours at work so it's just a few mins here and there

The engine is done. Do you still want it. I have been away and checking in remotely. Sorry for any confusion. All messages from Casey as to Where it has to be sent were deleted by him so I'm lost. Truly sorry for the delay I will send it to whoever needs it as it does not belong to me and I don't want to be "that guy".

Oh. I also found the engine binds up a bit on some flash in the holes in the block for the mounts. After a few test fits it all nestled in and everything clears

Beautiful. I found its not the rear axle assembly that puts the wheels too far back. It's the pins that hold the interior to the chassis. I cut them off on mine and everything lines up as it should. Should the rear panel not be black on a 396 car? Everyone I have seen except black and green big block cars have the black tail panel
