Front u joint let go. No loop. It dug into the ground and that chaos happened. Seen that happen before. All my cars now get a front and rear loop for the driveshaft. Cheap insurance

Cast it

Thanks again guys. The wheels came from an historic racing miniatures mark Donahue 65gt350 R Transkit I had laying around. They are a machined lip and cast white metal centres. I made the dust caps from valve cover breathers from a glidden pro stock. I was able to epoxy the kit metal mounting pins into the mounting holes on the aluminum rims so they just popped right on.

I could sure use that machine!

I just built a little friction into my hinges. They will stay open or closed

Hey, not a problem. We all have to start somewhere. It's a great kit to start on. What many of us here at all levels like to do if we are not familiar with our subjects is Google some images of what you are working on. Helps a lot. I have 1000s of pics on my computer. Keep at it ?

I need to go there. What sucks for me in this hobby is my location on the earth! I'm near nothing, no big contests or shows. I attend one contest a year. Lol. I did however place in the top ten in the 01 custom clinic photo contest. I am hoping our take a turn torino project could find its way into the museum someday.
