  1. Good start. I must say though that the window weatherstrip you have on the top of the door stays with the car. They have frameless windows.
  2. Could I see the valve covers? Are they stock 351 covers or the aftermarket units like in the mach 1 kit? I gotta get this to see if I can do a full detail on my minty 72 Torino
  3. Thanks guys. I bought it cheap yes. I had just never seen one and had no intention of trying to retire off it or anything. I was just curious about its story and value. I will pass it along to someone who wants it
  4. Yes, I would get rid of it. Just was curious first if anyone else has seen one like it
  5. picked this little gem up at a flea market today. It's mint in box. What's the story on it. Looks like most of it is the same as the Monroe handler mustang
  6. Awesome!! I'm building the same truck. Based on the same truck!!
  7. Will the chrome be plated?
  8. That's terrible news. But it's good in a way that you have a project like this to help you get through it. I didn't want to install oil cooler and heater hoses before I sent the engine just for the fact it's easier to do when you have the car In front of you. Good call on that. I hope you used black for the hoses. Red ones grind my gears lol. You do what you can as you can and focus on getting healthy again fred
  9. Any progress?
  10. Great looking model Tyrone!
  11. That's awesome news. It's getting so close now! Can't wait to see what you have done
  12. How we doing on this? Get the exhaust figured?
  13. Lol rape= canola. The common term for it now. It's a seed crop. Canola oil
  14. You are right. Just beat me to it. I built the red car just like yours before the others had been found. Also to add to another post, there was only 1 67 prototype convertible and it was taken apart, re bodied as a 68 and sold late 68. It has since been found and is or is in the process of being put back to its 67 glory
  15. Looks great. The interior is awesome. I agree using the 68 body is a good idea BUT you would need to add the top trim anyway so it's a bit of work either way and you don't have to fill the marker lights on the 68
  16. I got my calypso green in a duplicate color spray can btw. Testors wet look on top of that
  17. Awesome Tyrone. Reminds me of my mini rubbed gt500 powered notch
  18. Came out very nice. Only thing I would change are the tires. Polyglas gt's are correct. Fire stones only came on a few late 1970 boss 302s and the odd 71 mustang. It depended on assembly plant and what was on hand
  19. You don't need converters. I've got off road x pipes on all my stuff! You still need the sensors though. And it's a 5.4 if you got it out of the shelby kit. Shares no parts with the 5.0
  20. Can't wait to get some of these. Beautiful job on this
  21. I'll fix that for you. You mean THE 67 super snake. It's the only one
  22. Looks like a project for John Teressi....
  23. I will keep that in mind. Thanks. I've been looking for the correct size and shape steelies for an A12 of my own. I have so many projects and not much time. Lol. I love these old mopars so I can't wait for updates
