  1. hi guys. after a year of tinkering on my duster project, it's nearly done. I was thinking what I wanted to do next. Some of you may remember the 70 mach 1 twister I built a while back. This current project is building from that car. I'm doing a fresh resto type 69 boss 429. It will be opened up like my twister. I'm thinking black jade for colour. Thanks for looking
  2. The engine on these typically is removed from the bottom. You drop the whole front end and take the engine/ trans. Ask me how I know???
  3. Could be my favorite so far Tyrone. Maybe a mopar next?....
  4. Had a little more time. This one is so close to done now! Hood and rear spoiler are drying as I type this. Here are a few pics. It turned out pretty much how I saw it in my head. Thanks for looking
  5. Geez that sits nice Tyrone. Caltracs look great too. I also put some on my duster. This makes me wanna crack out a camaro!! Keep it up
  6. Oh yeah!!! That is coming along nicely!!?
  7. Thanks for watching this come together guys! I got the body and chassis together for last time today. Here is the engine bay. Couple things to do yet but it's close. Added the msd box. Made the fuel pressure regulator. Adding rad cap and couple more things but it's close to done.
  8. Thanks for all the kind words guys! Worked or brake lines today. It's all done except for routing the rubber lines in final build up.
  9. Thanks guys. The tach is an old detail master piece if I remember right. The housing is aluminum, the face is a plastic overlay and the needles and mounting clamp are photoetch. Took a while to build. Lol. I've had it for a long time. The oil filter decal is from the custom decals on the new hemi cuda kit. If I get the firewall done tmo the big parts should be together tmo. I just could not resist a quick look though. Here you go. Hood isn't done yet
  10. Got some more done today. Hemi is in for last time. Got the dipstick on, decal on oil filter and made rad hoses. Front suspension is in just the coilovers left there. Getting very close to mating body to chassis for last time then it will really take shape. The hood is a black six pack unit btw. Thanks for looking
  11. Well guys,as I have a little time I'm trying to get this year long build in the books. I added a tach, inline shifter and a shift light and now the interior is done. Thanks for looking
  12. Paint turned out great. But I do have some questions, after all that engine work etc. why not detail the grille and rear trim between tail lights, why no foil? Where is the front valence under the bumper? Those things would turn a good model into a great model. That is just my opinion and you can take it however you wish because at the end of the day it's your model
  13. Had some time today so I got the big parts of the interior done. Dash is pretty well finished. I may add a monster tach/ shift light and a couple other gauges for the monster under the hood. Get some pedals in it and I got a nice inline 4 speed shifter as well. Thanks for looking
  14. I'm loving this. I remember when this car was first built. I will also be doing one in the future! Keep going?
  15. Yup. Those are lookin great. Did you get some down the bores? That's where it would really shine. Here is a little newer dominator I did
  16. Thanks guys. Looks like a half day at work tmo so I should have some good updates. Thanks for watching for nearly a year! Lol
