  1. I also did tan with a saddle leather seat camaro ( think king ranch Ford). I have a technique to get the slight colour differences in the colouring on seats to look like the saddle leather
  2. I love tan interiors. One of my 1:1 cars has tan guts, my white chocolate 08 f150 limited has tan/ gray insert leather guts. Just love tan with white. Looks rich. Here is tan I did in a cuda
  3. If it were mine, I would do trim stock Chrome and leave bumpers Chrome. Slam some tan guts in it and have a classy pro touring rig
  4. so, another 11 days goes by and nothing. I sincerely hope everything is ok but at the same time I feel the group needs a little more that what you whipped in here and posted Ron.
  5. mine will be black jade. A rare 69 only colour. The exhaust is also different from 69-70. The 69 uses the transverse muffler and resonators and the 70 used regular mufflers. I am lucky enough to have access to a 69 and a 70 to look at and know the cars quite well. Going to be a fun project. Hoping someone on here can hook me up with the corrected front end
  6. I am doing one right now. Let's clear up some misinformation in the above pics too. The 69 boss 9 did not have exposed exhaust tips as the pic suggests. They ALL had a straight rear valence and turndowns. That applies for 70 as well. Secondly, no need to fit louvers to a boss 9. None were factory installed either year. Only interior color in 69 was black. The magnum 500s were different from 69 to 70. For a correct 69 wheel steal some from the Amt mopars. Tall center cap they had and different spokes. As far as engine size, the 70 engine fits just about right in the 69 Mach model.
  7. Very nice!! You wouldn't want to part with a couple sets of those valve covers would you?
  8. Looks good. I have not done one of these in years. Better get that bracing out of the front before you paint?
  9. I made the correct valence. Wasn't too hard. Made the slots and trimmed with rod and sanded to shape
  10. Off to a good start. Here is what can be done with it ? Shaker, 428 cj and a little cutting
  11. Got a bit more done. Tackled a couple of the more difficult parts yesterday. The grille and tail lights. Both can be tricky to get right. I think I did ok. Lol.
  12. Here is a hemi I just wrapped up. I made the intake and topped it with a dominator from a pro mod kit
  13. I hear you Mike. Sask is the same way. 35-40 bucks for a kit I can get at my hobby shop for 22
  14. good to hear Ron. So, what is the status?
  15. Good start. I put this one on the rm 67 chevelle pro street chassis years ago. Fit decent
  16. he feels good enough to pop in here and not post, shares and posts on fb as well so my feeling on this is going from uncertain and hope that everything is ok to one of feeling ripped off so close to the end of the project that was going to prove a point that it could be done by a group with good results?
  17. Thanks guys. Should get the interior wrapped up tonight and begin chassis work tmo. Guess I should whip up a hemi too lol
  18. One I watched was just called Lemmy I think. I will look
  19. Very sad. I love cranking up some Motörhead and building. Has anyone else seen the great documentary on Lemmy? It's on Netflix. Check it out
  20. That's super nice!!
  21. I just paint the floor the closest colour to the flocking and while its wet I apply a ton of it. I then dab it down with my finger. I wait 10-15 mins and dump the extra off into a box and put it back in the container.
  22. Yup. Roll with those. They are from the 70 roadrunner kit. Good ol mopar cop wheels!
  23. Got some done on the interior. Went with a little darker carpet but since it's not going to be 100%stock it works well. It's just mocked up but you get the idea. Thoughts?
  24. Good start. Maybe some newer viper rims. The gen 1 rims are quite dated
