  1. Beautiful ! Great work on an older model , it looks better than new !
  2. Beautiful De Soto ! Great photography too !
  3. Ooooo ! You should be pleased , that turned out very very nice !
  4. Thanks Ron ! I'd like to find another one , look forward to seeing yours built . Thanks Steve ! Thanks Bill ! Same here , most of my survivors will never be redone . I think nostalgia is one of the biggest reasons I build models !
  5. Thanks David ! Thanks much Dan ! Thanks !
  6. Sharp looking Bel Air ! Really nice job on the engine and the decals !
  7. Grand looking Grand Sport , job well done ! And yes black BMF is the worst .
  8. Thanks Matt !
  9. Thanks guys !
  10. Gorgeous Caddy , really like those wheels & tires ! Paint looks flawless as does your detailing , and the wrinkles in the top are a great addition . . . did you do them or were they molded into the part ?
  11. Thanks ! They reissued the '67 Charger so maybe this one will appear one day . Thanks Roger , I'd like to build another one too ! Thanks Ray !
  12. It looks like you're detailing everything just right and the quarter windows are a great addition , well done ! A minute removing the mold line from the top of the radiator would be time well spent , and our good friend Harry would point out the "floating" alternator . A simple top bracket made from a strip of scrap plastic easily solves that . Overall a beautiful Chevelle !
  13. Paint and detailing look spot on ! I don't know much about these cars but I bet you're right about it matching at least one of them .
  14. Thanks Gary !
  15. Thank you Snake ! I wish my older ones survived as well , one day I gotta work on them .
  16. It looks good to me ! The replaced glass fits good , the paint looks good , engine detailing looks good , and your BMF looks like you've been doing it for years , so don't be so hard on yourself ! One suggestion would be to fit "everything" to the body before paint . You'd be surprised at the difference when bumpers and grilles line up nicely when you're finished .
  17. Built in 1977 the only thing I remember about it is I bought it at the Kmart in Valdosta along with a spray can of Pactra 'Namel . . . no primer or clear . I have older survivors but none that were this intact when unboxed so it's the only one on my shelf . I posted this 4 or 5 years ago but those photos are long gone and I can't edit the post (?) so here it is again . Here's the condition when unboxed several years ago . Didn't notice before but it looks like the 42 yr old hood prop (toothpick) survived too !
  18. I've heard lots of complaints about this kit but I happen to like it a lot and who can argue with a pink T-Bird ! Very well done with some excellent detailing . . . I like the grille ! You might consider lightening your panel lines a bit , either by thinning your wash or adding some pink to it . Not a criticism just an observation .
  19. Nicely detailed and a sharp looking sleeper ! Black is always tough but you managed to pull it off , congrats on finishing another one .
  20. Just watched the video . . . I'll pass .
  21. Thanks much Bill ! This was just released a few months ago , maybe just the first ?

Very few people attempt sectioning a body these days but the results are more than worth the effort as you've proven with this beauty ! Excellent work !
  23. It doesn't have to be an exact duplicate to be a great looking model , excellent fab work ! Always loved the look of this car .
