  1. Paint and detailing look spot on ! I don't know much about these cars but I bet you're right about it matching at least one of them .
  2. Thanks Gary !
  3. Thank you Snake ! I wish my older ones survived as well , one day I gotta work on them .
  4. It looks good to me ! The replaced glass fits good , the paint looks good , engine detailing looks good , and your BMF looks like you've been doing it for years , so don't be so hard on yourself ! One suggestion would be to fit "everything" to the body before paint . You'd be surprised at the difference when bumpers and grilles line up nicely when you're finished .
  5. Built in 1977 the only thing I remember about it is I bought it at the Kmart in Valdosta along with a spray can of Pactra 'Namel . . . no primer or clear . I have older survivors but none that were this intact when unboxed so it's the only one on my shelf . I posted this 4 or 5 years ago but those photos are long gone and I can't edit the post (?) so here it is again . Here's the condition when unboxed several years ago . Didn't notice before but it looks like the 42 yr old hood prop (toothpick) survived too !
  6. I've heard lots of complaints about this kit but I happen to like it a lot and who can argue with a pink T-Bird ! Very well done with some excellent detailing . . . I like the grille ! You might consider lightening your panel lines a bit , either by thinning your wash or adding some pink to it . Not a criticism just an observation .
  7. Nicely detailed and a sharp looking sleeper ! Black is always tough but you managed to pull it off , congrats on finishing another one .
  8. Just watched the video . . . I'll pass .
  9. Thanks much Bill ! This was just released a few months ago , maybe just the first ?

Very few people attempt sectioning a body these days but the results are more than worth the effort as you've proven with this beauty ! Excellent work !
  11. It doesn't have to be an exact duplicate to be a great looking model , excellent fab work ! Always loved the look of this car .
  12. Mission accomplished and it looks great !
  13. Thanks Tim ! Working on the photography part and it's definitely getting better .
  14. Thanks Ben ! I've got a couple original issues sitting here now , one of them is next on my bench .
  15. I think it turned out just fine Chris , especially with that Diamond dust paint ! Even with all of the kits faults it still builds into a decent model and it's got really nice wheels and tires .
  16. Thanks Jim and hi from Florida ! I was born in Lockport , never really lived there but still have family in the area .
  17. We can do that !
  18. Thanks Bill ! I now know that the Cougar chassis isn't actually correct but it' so close and readily available . Only thing I don't like is the rear wheels , they look like they're held on with a big screw and flat washer ! The interior tin fit right into the stock body , I only cut down the front since I didn't use the blower .
  19. Thanks ! My photography's getting better , still working on it . Thanks ! Thanks you !
  20. Just going through this thread from start to finish is like a class on "How To Build A Model - The Right Way" , incredible work Steve ! It's been a long time since I've built a nice 60's street machine but I've got the itch again after seeing your Fury . Also thanks for the kudos about the dash decals , they weren't the best but I'm glad you were able to use them .
  21. Amazing work !
  22. Well done ! Your color choice goes perfectly with those decals .
  23. Thanks very much guys , I do appreciate the replies ! I don't know a lot about these cars but did try to get it to look right if not technically correct .
  24. Yep . . . that's cooooooool !
