  1. You did a nice job on the black trim.
  2. Nice car. Doesn't Williams make a couple of cool Gee Bee's ?
  3. Very nice looking build. May be better looking without side windows installed.
  4. I could take those items but doubt I would come up with a model as nice as yours. Very nice work.
  5. Thats a lot of blue you have there. You can tell by my avatar and screen name that I love this group of models.
  6. No models or supplies but my wife did renew my supscription to Model Car and the "other" car model magazine. Plus she is waiting on me so all in all a good day.
  7. I do remember the show. Brodwick Crawford was the star if I remember right. I can't say a remember the car you are refering to. Was it a car that was in one show or was it a regular on the show ? We don't get any reruns of the show out here at least yet. I hope we get it. I would love to watch them again. Was it a Buick that was the patrol car ?
  8. Unfreaking believable ! That truck is just plain beautiful. As someone else said, it is hard if even possible to tell the real truck from your replica. You are a true artist to be sure. Looking forward to your next project.
  9. I bent some thin rod a while ago by placing in it some very warm (hot) water. It worked ok. I would like to hear a good way to bend it also.
  10. I use and like Novus 2 followed with Novus 1 or a good wax.
  11. That is coming along nicely. Nice work.
  12. If I'm not mistaken that is the first release. Someone here will know for sure. I think I have seen these go on ebay for 250.00 or 300.00. But again, someone who knows more than me should be along to give you a better answer.
  13. Nice job. Cool car. I never saw that one before.

    67 Plymouth GTX

Looks very nice. What's the color /
  15. Small update here. Things are moving along pretty quickly since this is such a simple kit. I molded in the front and rear roll pans and set in two sunken antenna tubes. The chassis ( such as it is ) has been detailed painted to the best of my ability. Not too bad considering it is a one piece unit.
  16. Cool looking old Mini. I like the wheels.
  17. Looking very good. Nice work.
  18. I didn't break any parts while building. I use nippers to cut the pieces off the trees. The parts are to scale so they are thin. As I have said before really only had a problem with the 2 part front and rear nerf bars. The rear was tough but the front was much worse. I had a heck of a time getting it lined up and stuck just where I wanted it. The one stupid error I made was to put the gold stripe on without taping the hood and nose together before doing the decal. I have the piece on the nose a little off center. It was stupid and I know better, Been building models for over 50 years and I still do stupid stuff like that.
  19. You sir have some great skills. Looking forward to seeing more of your builds.
  20. Car looks good.
  21. Most of you are probably familure with this kit. It is kind of a throwback and the type of kit I built as a youngster. It is a cubside type of model being that the hood does not open and the chassis has all the detail molded in. Seats are molded as part of the interior. All in all a pretty simple kit so this should be a pretty quick build. Going to do it as a mild custom with a few modifications.
  22. That fire truck is too cool !
  23. Like all your projects this one turned out great. I always look forward to your next build.
  24. I'm hooked. This is one interesting project.
