Got a new one of these probably late 50’s. Buckley Irish Mail . My dad worked for them . That was back when we lived in Chicago . It was a lot of fun .

What the heck is that red thing ?

Just to start us off . These were built recently .

Beautiful models.

1/12 scale kit . There was only one of these built in the late 30’s . In all the research I did I could not find any hint of what color this was . Only black and white photos could be found . Most people I showed a pic said it looked white . I decided I would go with a flat white . After I finish it I will probably find the true color . More details about this thing when I finish it and put it in the under glass section .

On my project I was planning on using a Revell chassis . The side pic shows that the wheelbase needs to be shortened a bit .
