  4. Ditto to that !
  5. Great looking model.
  6. Shouldn't that be in the what's for dinner section ? Sorry.
  7. I had two new ones. Bought a 74 Mach 1 ( v6 no 8 till 75 ) and a new 78 King Cobra. That one was a 302 but as we all know HP was way down. Still I liked that car because I almost never saw another one. Your model looks good.
  8. When I was young ( long time ago ) I would buy my models in a store called Zayer's. The models that retailed for 1.50 were 1.11 and the ones 2.00 were 1.70. Those were the days.
  9. Man that chicken looks good !
  10. I really like it but then I do favor the odd ball stuff.
  11. Thats pretty cool. Not enough talent to pull that off but John T. could do it justice .
  12. Maybe you could use a die cast body and just strip the paint ???/
  13. Very well done.
  14. I remember something like that . Then the Notox glue came out . They should have called it no stick !
  15. Not photo worthy............... a bologna sandwich and BBQ chips and a diet Mt. Dew.
  16. Thank you fellows. If I had it to do over I think I would have done it like the real one i had.
  17. Looks good. Love the interior.
  18. I never heard or thought of peanut butter on a burger.
  19. Thanks guys. I spent a whole 5 days on it and it shows !
  20. Looks like it's ready for anything.
  21. Nice work. They would really look good as part of a little diorama.
  22. Let me start by saying I had trouble with this kit . I’m not going to blame the kit as it was most likely problems brought on by myself . I got sick of working on it and so I rushed it . First plastic kit I built in a little while but since I had a new one I bought in 77 I wanted to build a model . Not as mine was but just an example of these trucks . My first idea was to build it painted like a BRE vehicle . I changed my mind when going through my parts box and found a bunch of AMT 289 Cobra parts . That engine is very narrow and fit with some mods . I used the hood scoop and seats and side pipes from the Cobra kit . I really had problems with the final assembly and removed the engine and glued down the hood . Not happy and not my best work but here it is .
  23. Simple meatballs with gravy and home fried potato's.
