cobraman replied to DPNM's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Nice wood work. I have a Pinewood kit of a Cobra but it is still in the box. -

The ones I sent back for repair was a PT22 and a 709 Slim. The revolver a 44 magnum is darn good. -
All mine are now dead.

I would be interested in how much you like that. I have 3 Taurus pistols in my collection. Two semi autos and one revolver. I had to send both autos back to them for repairs. The revolver works very well. -

MPC Mustang II Cobra kits
cobraman replied to Ben's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I liked the Mustang ll cars . I fact I had two that I bought new . They may not have been great cars but they both served me well . First was the 74 Mach 1. Had the V6 as the V8 was not out till the 1975 year . Also bought the 78 King Cobra right off the delivery truck . That had the 302 but as you all know hp was way down . Still I really liked both those cars . I have heard it said that the Mustang lol saved the Mustang nameplate . Not sure if that is true or not . -
Nice paint work !

My wife ordered some models for me for Father’s Day . I guess she thinks it’s time I build some more plastic . Two of them came yesterday . The mini bike looks like it could be fun . The little 32 is not complete . All there except the grill shell . Seller refunded the money and said do whatever I want with the kit . Can’t be more fair than that .

I ordered one of those Testors 1/43 32 Ford kits on ebay. Had a couple before and they were pretty cool. I planned on stripping this one and repainting it. Anyway, the auction claimed it was new and sealed. I got it today and it was not sealed which was not a big deal to me but it was missing the metal grill shell. Bummer. Ebay will help me out if the seller won't. Still a pain.

Let's See Some Glue Bombs!

Some great saves here. I sure wish I had my old models from the 60's. You would not believe how many I ruined with firecrackers or shot with a BB or pellet gun. -
