  1. Nice work Bill. Keep er' goin'.
  2. I don't recall ever seeing a Cobra with that roof line in any of my Cobra books. I would check for more photos but they are in storage and tough to get at. The only roof I ever adapted to a Cobra was with a 63 Corvette split window. Might have to try something along these lines here. Always looking for another Cobra to add to the collection.
  3. Another cool Cobra in the works.
  4. Thank you Bill and Mark. Now a not so good pic of the engine compartment.
  5. Cool little model. Almost bought a new one in 72 I think it was. A purple X.
  6. Nicely done.
  7. Thanks guys. I think I need another one !
  8. Thank you very much guys. Yes the seat pattern is on the decal sheet.
  9. So I'm taking in these cool Cobra's and loving it and then a Monza ? Just kidding that will be a very cool Monza.
  10. Great looking model with one of your signature good looking interiors. Nice !
  11. This is the new Revell Bronco kit. I guess it can be one of several years so I am calling it a 1971. The kit goes together without any problems ( other than the ones I caused. I painted it Star Spangled Blue and did the top and seats in white. It does have side windows but I have not installed them yet. As has been said the wheel covers do seem to be too small. The large side decals were a little tough for me to install and I thought they would break but they did not. I know I need to cut them where they go over the door but I am not sure if setting solution will work after the decal has dried. Any body Know ? I hope they do a half cab version and also make up some flairs. Comments welcome good or bad.
  12. I tried that hand painting stuff but really only pinstriping. I bought a kit that came with 5 cans of One Shot paint, oil for brushes, dagger brushes and video and instructions. Never could get the hang of it and just ended up using the tape that you lay down and the paint over and remove and have a good stripe. Not what I had planned on doing but at least it wasn't money totally wasted.
  13. I'm glad I'm retired ! My wife can be a taskmaster however. : )
  14. Looks like a modified Corvair engine and the belt that would normally turn the fan was changed to a more normal style belt and to me , no it would not run ( not long anyway) .
  15. For me the goal is to finish. Again, that is just me. To me what's the point if your not going to finish ? I have no problem for people that prefer to take a model to a certain point and stop. It's a hobby and we all do with our models what we want.
  16. Well done.
  17. I will be looking in. I also have some stashed and have built a few. Nice little kit. Wish they would have continued with the series but I guess they didn't sell that well.
  18. So nice to hear from you. Stay strong and keep doing what you need to do. We here are all pulling for you.
  19. That's a heck of a nice looking boat.
  20. You are so right about this kit being a dog. That being said I am sure you will make something cool out of it.
