Started my bus today. Removed the roof section. May or may not reuse and relocate it. Working on a couple different ideas. I noticed the two antennas included with the kit were pretty much perfect for rear fender flares. May or may not mold them in.

A hot wash cloth also seems to help my wife.

I started with the Revell kit. I moved the rear wheels forward about 5/16 of an inch. Front tires are from the parts box. Modified the headers a bit by making them shorter and putting some plastic tubing on to give an open look. Slixx seat belt decals. Some chrome was stripped. Color is Graphite Dust. I used a round headed straight pin for the shifter.I wired the battery. I am toying with raising the rear suspension. I built it stock but seems too low to me. Also I had ordered some BMF but it still had not arrived so.... it's a custom with painted window trim. : ) As always comments pro or con are welcome.

Getting close to finishing this one. I built the suspension stock so not sure why the rake is so sever. Something to do with my altering the rear wheel wells ?? I guess I could raise the rear end but hate to start messing with it so close to it being done. Also my order of BMF has not arrived so I did not do window trim. Think of it as a custom with the trim painted. : )

Did a iphone update yesterday. Now phone all messed up. I see nothing better and don't know why they do this. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Maybe I'm just an old grump and hate changes . Maybe I need to go back to a simple flip phone.

It's amazing that such a cool model can come from such a simple kit. Of coarse some talent is required and we can all see that here.

Look what showed up yesterday ! I just wanted to get in on the fun. I have a couple ideas of where I want to go with this but will pin it down before I start. I have to finish the 57 Ford AWB Gasser I am working on first.

I got sucked into this by all the cool modified ones I have seen here. Not sure what I will end up doing with this.
