Yes they are decals. I think they were from the Revell 57 gasser wagon.

It was reissued as well as the 750 Honda a few months ago. Great little kit !

Stock Revell dragster chassis. Testors CheZoom body. Painted Hugger Orange. Sheet plastic rear spoiler.

I like that Stagger Wing a lot. So much in fact I just ordered the 1/48 AMT kit on ebay.

Best use of this kit hands down. Well, at least my favorite.

The body does look a little stubby but with the front and rear on when done it should look better.

While that looks good I think it looks cleaner without the trim. But will look nice either way IMO.

Getting closer to wrapping this one up.

This is the little 1/32 Gunze Sangyo kit. Got a good deal on it on ebay. Does not have white walls so I painted them. They looked pretty good and I used the correct type paint but did not hold up when I tried to mount them on the wheels. These were the toughest wheels I ever had to mount. I am thinking i will just buy a die cast to rob the wheels and tires from. Not sure I will be able to get this roof to work but I will give it a try. Anyone ever build this kit ?

Started this a few days ago. The chassis is an old Revel item from the double dragster kit. The body is from the Testors Chezoom kit. So far I cut out for the roll bar and seat. I made the rear wing/spoiler. The body has been painted Hugger Orange.

Just watched a old movie on TCM that was about a woman air race. A Staggerwing was one of the featured aircraft. Very cool.

Not a bad idea at all. Lots can be done with this simple kit.
