  1. Thanks for the kind words.
  2. I ordered this kit yesterday but don't know how soon I will be able to start it.
  3. That looks crazy good ! Just ordered that kit yesterday, But whatever I do with it it will be nowhere as cool as this one.
  4. Thank you. Getting ahead of myself is my biggest problem. I need to read through the instructions first. Just starting the Revell 57 Ford gasser as an AWB car. Lets see how I mess that one up . : )
  5. Looks good. That's a lot of foil !
  6. Very nice !
  7. It's all about respect. Some people just don't get it. And then there are the ones who want respect but don't want to give it.
  8. I find that most of the time when anyone points out a shortcoming on a model it is meant to only help the builder not to slam or insult. Many of my models have been called out for missing mirrors or floating alternators or some such problem ( mostly by Harry ) : ) And I take it in the spirit which is given. I think of this place as a place to learn how to do things better so we can build better models. It hasn't kicked in with me yet but I'm trying.
  9. Thank you fellows.
  10. That's going to be cool !
  11. Thanks Zoom !

  14. Still thinking about relocating Bill ?
  15. Thanks. You would think after building for over 50 years I would learn. I have not ! : )
  16. Way better !
  17. Looks good !
  18. I finished this one up this morning. Had some issues with it but they were of my own doing to be honest. The biggest of my boo boos was to not open up the rear wheel wells. The instructions do state to do that but I built this out of sequence. I have a habit of sometimes wanting to prepare the body as I work on the engine and interior. By the time I got to the step that noted the rework of the rear wheel well I already had the body done and did not want to take a dremel to it. I did shorten the track to try and get them to tuck better but that only helped a little. Anyway, for the most part it was built out of the box with just a couple of minor changes. Painted Revving Red. Kit decals and cleared. Comments always welcome pro or con.
  19. Nice, I like that kit. What flocking do you use for your carpet ?
  20. Nice paint, nice interior, cool tail lights.
  21. You have my attention as my first car was a 62 Ford.
  22. Wow ! You have the right to be very proud of her. Sounds like she really has her stuff together.
  23. Thanks guys.
  24. Thanks for the update Harry. I also hope and pray that the doctors are being straight with you. My guess that they are. You are lucky to have such good family support that means a great deal. Between your family and friends you have a lot of people pulling for you. Do what your supposed to do and stay strong. Soon we will be reading a post on how you beat this cancer. That will be a very good day for us all. Take care.
  25. This was a rare prototype engine and only two were ever produced. : )
