I'm hooked !

Got my feet wet on this build. I want to run larger tires all around and some a tad larger on the rear. I found these flairs in my parts box and modified them a bit to fit. I used the Dremel to enlarge the wheel wells before adding the flairs. Slung a coat of putty on them to mold them to the body. More to do. I also made a little spoiler for the front end out of sheet plastic. I am thinking maybe a Targa roof but not sure. Yes, no ? What do you guys think ?

Next up will be this Corvair. Not 100% where I will be going with this but I am thinking mild custom.

This was my "White Whale ". : ) I fought with this kit more than any other than I have in a long time. I hung with it and although it is far from perfect I will put it in one of my display cabinets ( in the back ) . To be clear I do not blame the kit, it was all me. Car was painted with Model Master metallic red enamel. I used self stick felt from Hobby Lobby for the carpet. Had to paint the car 3 times due to runs but finally got some paint I has happy with. Comments of any kind are always welcome and thanks for looking.

I don't know if anyone here ever watched a show called "Shark Tank " but every time they had an inventor or business person looking for investment capitol the first thing they would say if it was an American made product was " You can make it cheaper off shore". I am willing to pay more for American goods but they seem to be getting harder and harder to find. I fear we have gone too far down a road which we will never be able to go back on.
