Got the side panels on and will do some more priming tomorrow. I also gathered up the chrome pieces I want to strip and should be able to do that tomorrow as well.

Big problems with "SOME" of our young people nowadays or maybe always. No respect for others but yet think they deserve respect from others. Throwing trash and beer cans or bottles on lawns or spraying their stupid graffiti on walls and or scratching up cars or worse, stealing other peoples items. I only hope that one day if they are not in prison that someone does to the stuff that they worked hard for exactly what they had done. Still plenty of nice respectful young people out there and I am not trying to say as a group they are all bad, just some. Just one guys opinion.

I glue a flat piece of card board to the bottom of my accelerator because I had spilled more than I used. Since then, no spill.

Thanks. No way was I going to try and get that ribbing right. On second thought maybe it would not be that hard as they do provide strips that fit in the channels. I would just need to get the tops smooth. Still, not going to do it.

Got the body in primer today. Still more to do until paint. I also cut a piece of Bass wood that will be stained and placed in the bed. The fact that the wood will cover up the cut that is in the bed has no bearing on why I am doing the wood. You say you don't believe that ? You got me. That is 100 % why I am doing it. : )

Not a bunch of progress but I did manage to get the side walls cut to size. Mine won't be quite as short and the car I am using as a guide.

Just a little 1/72 kit so it isn't very detailed but it also won't take up very much space.
