Hi guys. Can someone tell me where is the best place to look for 1/16 scale big and little tires and wheels ? Actually they don't have to be resin. Looking for something like the wheels and tires like you would find in a Revell 1/16 funny car kit. I have the Lindberg 1/16 Bull Horn kit and it could benefit from better rolling stock. Thanks

Well the second paint job came out a tad better. I decaled it and set the body on the chassis for a look see. Tomorrow I will shoot on some clear. Then I can finish up the body details and go on to final assembly. Looks like I forgot to remove the wipers. Oh well too late now and I guess I will have to detail them. Seems like I always screw up something anymore,

I think I may give it a try too. What is it about it that makes it so good ?

Unless it is a Cobra kit I buy for my collection it gets opened soon after I get it home. I have many sealed Cobra kits and none have any damage................ so far . : )

I would worry that perhaps as I go along parts packs would not be available to allow me to finish the build. Maybe nothing to worry about but that's just me. I would only buy if I could afford to buy all at once.

The re-badging of cars also fools a lot of people I think. For example my SIL has a Pontiac Vibe. When I mentioned to her it was a Toyota Matrix under the skin she did not believe it. I also know a guy who dislikes Ford but purchased a Mazda Navajo who didn't know it was the 2 door Explorer. I would bet this happens all the time. A lady where I used to work had a Jeep Liberty she hated. Traded it in on a Nitro. Same thing , no ?

Won't be long now. Do people still bother installing snow tires in the winter ? My first job when I lived in Oak Lawn Ill. was at a service station and I put on many a snow tires for people. Most didn't even bother to have them on a rim so I had to dismount the "normal" tire to install the snow tire plus balance. The old time bubble balancer . I actually enjoyed doing that. Got a pocket full of tips.

Isn't that still the case with some vehicles ?

Felt like doing some building today so I just about finished up the chassis. I have the body back in primer again and may and try and paint it tomorrow. Fingers crossed. : )
