Thanks guys. To let the body sit as low as I want it I had to do more work on it. I needed to cut a hole to let the engine come through the hood. Modification is done and body in primer.

I have been building for over 50 years but I would still read it. : )

I went to my local PO when my issue of MCM was arriving in poor condition. They filled out a form and ever since this magazine ( as well as others which will remain nameless ) they have arrived in much better condition.

I do not but they sure are nice even if pricey. I do like the stock ones too !

Making some headway on this build. The chassis I elected to use was not set up correct for this body. Nothing lined up good but the wheelbase was pretty good. Anyway, I had 2 choices. I could either modify the frame which would involve moving the seating, the roll bar and probably relocating the engine and modifying the drive shaft. The other option, the one I chose was to modify the body to fit. Thus the reason I put a notch in the rear panel. It gave me the room I needed for the roll bar. One photo shows a mock up of where I am headed. Color (s) have not been selected yet but I am leaning towards a 2 tone paint job.

I have had plenty of motorcycles. My last one ( a Harley ) I was almost hit on by a car going around 50. It was one close call too many for me. Sold it in 2005 and will never have another. Call me a sissy or whatever but no more motorcycles for me. Too many terrible drivers on the road today and I am just not taking the risk anymore. They are a ton of fun however .

Ron, Ron , Ron........ I enjoy building as much as the next guy but, building on vacation ??? You must really like building or you took vacation in a crummy place. : )

Glad to hear that "Jersey Boys" was good. My wife is taking me to see it for my birthday on Saturday ( hopefully after the model swap meet ) she may also take me across the street to "Claim Jumper " !!!

Has the Godzilla decals been fixed ? When I bought them a few years ago one Godzilla faced the wrong way and the lettering for the fenders were too large.
