  1. Made some progress.
  2. Received this today. Been wanting to build one of these weird things for a while. Just a body for one of the Revell top fuel dragster kits. Anyone build one of these ?
  3. Very nicely done !
  4. Very cool ! Nice detail.
  5. Wow ! That says alot about the fine people here. I myself had only 3 trades. Two of which were perfect. One was a nightmare and did not go well. I will not say what or who that was but believe me it was not good. One of the mods here was kind enough to help me resolve the problem.
  6. Thanks guys. Starting to feel a little better about myself. : )
  7. Haven't done that one yet but give me some time and I'm sure I will. : )
  8. Maybe I should say stupid things I do. : ) Did a couple of stupid things the past couple of weeks and though I would share and see if anyone else has these types of goofs. A couple weeks ago I had shot a coat of clear on a car body. I went back later to lay down a second coat and I stupidly picked up the wrong can. Much to my surprise I was shooting silver paint on a blue car body. Doh ! Now today while working on the Cobra funny car build I had assembled part of the engine and then decided it was time to put the seatbelt decals on the seat. I did and put on some what I thought was my Solveset. Looked and saw the decals not setteling in like normal. I looked and discovered I put down Instaset for the glue. Stupid, stupid, stupid. They don't even apply the same way. Was I rushing or mabe a couple of senior moments ? Anyone care to share their mishaps ?
  9. Looks great ! Love the old FE dragsters.
  10. You did a great job on what I consider to be a tough kit to build well.
  11. Very nice. Not many passenger planes more beautiful than a "Connie". Very nice build.
  12. I doubt anyone was trying to "dis" you . The only important thing really is that the man got his ramp. IMO
  13. I don't see anything to pick apart Rob. Maybe nothing wrong with your build but rather there was stiff competition ?
  14. Very, very nice !
  15. Did you prep the tire in any way ? Did you use any setting solution ?
  16. I myself have never had good luck with Krylon paints but I see some builders use it and get beautiful results. They do have some cool off-beat colors. I pretty much stick with Tamiya and Model Master paints or HOK when I can find some.
  17. Yup, you have some mad skills to be sure.
  18. Not too big. I would like to see one in 1/8 scale ! : )
  19. Sweet ! Would like to see more photos if you have any.
