  1. Wow ! That is one beautiful build. I must agree with you about the kit fitting together well. One of the best fitting kits I think I ever built.
  2. Thanks Larry. I hope I can pull it off. If worse comes to worse I can always build up the parts in my parts boxes. : )
  3. Thanks Jeff. That is why I will not be adding BMF to the window frame. I don't want to draw any attention to it.
  4. Next up will be a meld of these 3 kits. I plan to use the funnycar chassis and motor ect. but extend the front end using part of the rail dragster frame. The Cobra body will then hopefully mated to the chassis. The idea came from a drawing in the last magazine. It shows the idea of building this but with a Gremlin body. I thought it looked cool so I'm going to try to do something along those lines but with a different body. Still need to unwrap a couple of the kits and try to mock it up to see if it will work. Thanks for looking !
  5. Got a bit further on this build. Chassis and interior is just about finished. Shot some clear on it yesterday but since I used the Ultra Gloss Enamel I will need to wait awhile before I can mate the body on the chassis. Thanks for looking !
  6. Thanks. I'm sure going to try !
  7. Beautiful !
  8. Looks good Dale. Black parts for areodynamics I'm guessing
  9. That's headed in a good direction.
  10. I don't know George. The windshield is way wrong to be sure but I think I might just muck it up if I try to fix it. Not sure why they did it this way to begin with. Also, since it is already in paint fixing it is not really an option. I got it into paint quick so I wouldn't try to fix it and make it a bigger mess. I am going to have to live with it. I will admit it does look bad and will probably be kicking myself when it is done that I didn't at least try.
  11. As of today I have 3 weeks left to work and retirement is right around the corner. No more work B.S.. More time for hobbies. Since I have 105 hours of PTO they will have to pay me for it will be a good time to get a nice kit for myself as a retirement gift. I am thinking of one of the resin Daytona Cobra kits that you can still find on ebay or perhaps a Trumpter Gt 40. I always liked that car but need to research it first. Heck, maybe I will splurge and get them both !

    Ya, nice clean build.
  13. Thanks Blair. That is different. I loves different.
  14. Looks good Bruce. Now when I build that kit, and I will, I will know not to sand them off. Before I read this I would have removed them.
  15. Hope photo worked this time.
  16. Looks great ! Any photos of the rear so we can see the tail light set up ?
  17. Glad to see this one back. Looking forward to seeing it finished.
  18. Looks great !
  19. Can't get photos to work. Will have to try later
