    Researching this project, I found that the chassis rails in the western series of Mack trucks varied to the usual r series chassi rails. It turns out they were straight rails on the RS700L. This is great news for me as making a whole chassis should be easier than altering the snap tight chassis. Cheers Ben

If you don't find a conversion, get some spec sheets and try converting the kits bonnet. I also think the chassis is straight rail as opposed to the usual r series chassis. There is also an article in truck model world on a western style r series.

    First model I've completed in ages. 1/24 Heller Ferguson tractor. Front axle and bonnet was a bit of drama but went together like a dream everywhere else. Ben

    I've got a few on the go. Trying to get one finished by the end of the week. The biggest issues I keep coming across is paint, still learning how to airbrush and I've rarely built box stock. I would like to do a couple of box stock trucks just to have a couple of mine built. Ben
