Thanks, Guys! Nothing worthy of a pic, but I just wanted to share a tip I've learned for removing scratches from bare plastic after removing mold lines and such......... I scrub the area that is marred with Comet cleanser and a tooth brush. It softens the scratches, and the primer will go on nice and hide the area that was addressed..........

Just started this in the past few days......... I really like this kit, it will be the second one that I've built. So far I've just removed the door hinges and the mold lines from the body, and got the frame pretty much finished. Wheels and tires from a Corvette, and I plan on using skirts for this......... Any and all comments welcome...........!

I believe I read that Moebius' '65 Belvedere I comes with a Max Wedge engine........ at least that's what I'll use to kitbash my '63 Plymouth wedge car........ It even has the cross-ram intake...!

Yea, You can even get one a little cheaper if it's already built........... I'm just spoiled on the ease and details of the modern kits, so I would definately have to mix kits to get a good model......

Before I go through the trouble of finding an old JoHan '63 and buying a Lindberg or Moebius kit to bring the kit up to date, and have my Max Wedge dream, I thought I should ask if it's at all possible that Moebius already has a '63 in the works. They like to get multiple years from the same basic tooling, so I was (wishfully) thinking they may have one of these planned for the future.......... What do you guys think? Should I just be patient for a while? Thanks for any responses..................

My old man, just like a lot of you guys, was the main influence on my taste in cars.......... He liked the Chrysler products, said they were the only thing that could handle his lead foot! I've had Honda, Ford, Dodge, Several makes, but the one car that stands out to me is a little Mazda GLC (Great Little Car!) That when I finally retired it, had a Quarter Million miles on it.........!
