About 10 years ago, I owned a '71 Dodge Sweptline truck. It was a short bed and the last year for that body style. Had a 318 with headers, a cam, and a Quadrajet carb... yes, a Chevy carburetor! (and the Mopar guys cringe.....) Auto trans and a 3.91 rear.... It wasn't safe to drive too fast because of the drum brakes, but it was a fun truck!

Thanks for all of your kind comments! I did learn something on this build... if you do any putty work and cover it in filler primer, use regular sandable primer before you paint....

In the movie "The Butterfly Effect" Kutcher's childhood friend builds model planes..... in one scene he is working on one and has several on shelves and hanging...

This is my last build for the year, just finished today! This kit has it's problems, but I'm happy with the way it turned out..... Comments always welcome!

For all you guys who use the various art programs out there, I have a request.... I would like for you to take this simple line drawing that I've done and improve upon it with your favorite program! Be creative and use your imagination! The reason I ask this of you is I'm looking to get an art program, just not sure which one yet......

I think it's pretty cool what you guys are doing... I could donate a set of rims with tires and rotors, I have them from the '65 Chevy step-side pickup if you guys want them for the project.... only downside being I have no backs for them.

Yea, Harry, I guess I was talking about two things at once (you caught me being schizoid, didn't you ) However, Zeppelin has had more covers of their music done than any other band, I think. There is even a series called "Pickin' On..." and they do Zep's music in the Bluegrass flavor (which I'm sure you would enjoy... ) I just wish Rdio.com would release their music for full streaming. Now it's preview only... and to hear any music by them you have to listen to covers.....

Mrs. Krauss and Plant did do some pretty good songs, though.... maybe not the version of "Black Dog" that is posted, but some of their stuff was okay.... I think that Page has such a tight rein on not only the Led Zeppelin name and their songs, but on their very sound, that it makes it difficult for cover bands to do a good job......

I would call Pink Floyd "concept rock".... Harry, you seem to be a pretty eclectic person. I believe you could really get into Phish's music. They do everything from bluegrass to calypso to jazz to straight-up rock'n'roll. Some songs I would recommend.... "Stash" "Guelah Papyrus" "Demand" and the entire live album titled A Live One....... Good group.....

Harry, if you like cover groups, you should check out Led ZepAgain.... they cover all the big hits from Zeppelin. They really do "Dazed and Confused" justice!
