  1. One of these days, I'm gonna climb that there mountain.........
  2. I have a handful or so projects going..... They're all held up by something different. The big scale Vette is waiting on paint, my Coyote X project is on hold until I can figure out how to hinge the rear clamshell.... There's the little 2002 that I'm gonna need to buy a magnifying lamp to attach the body trim to. I usually can buy a kit and build it, most of the time......
  3. 'Away' is where Lane Staley said he stays in Alice in Chains' best (to me) song........
  4. I've heard that before! It's like they don't have to think or make any decisions, they're free to just be..... I'll definitely look for some local classes for me and the pup. Thanks for the wisdom!
  5. Wow, John, that's a hoss of a dog! It's cool that you have experience with larger breeds, as I may could use some advice in the future, if that's cool? I believe Emmet is gonna be a pretty good size......... I know that treating them as an equal goes a long way with earning their respect........
  6. Thanks, Tony! So far, he loves everything and everyone........ He even doesn't mind the hammy running around in it's ball. Easy puppy, so far!
  7. Just went to the pound today and came home a pup richer! I've been calling him Emmet..... He's exhausted, had a big day......
  8. Hello, fellows! I recently started working on the Yenko Camaro from AMT. Upon mock-up, I found that the chassis just kinda flops around under the body..... Sitting the model down then picking it up, there's about a half-inch of play there. I'm wondering..... what have some of you done to fix this? The interior kinda just does what it wants, too. I can tell very easily that this is an older tool, just hoping someone has come up with a solution for this......... Thanks, guys........
  9. 'Nine!" is what the German guy said when asked if he could fit into a Yugo.........
  10. Mom dropped off a big batch of chocolate/pb/oatmeal no-bake cookies today....... It's a good thing I can't make them, or I'd have them all the time!
  11. What a stunner of a first post.........
  12. Worms in your apple aren't too bad to deal with, it's when you find a half of one..........
  13. This looks to be a cool project! I like both injection options for the engine....... The blower hat if it's gonna be more of a street bruiser, or the three carbs if you're going for more of a show/custom truck.....
  14. 'Control freak' is what a lot of race car drivers get called, which kinda makes sense if thought about.......
  15. Tom, do you think you could be the one to start it? Something along those lines would be perfect, as most folks have long-standing projects......... I should mention that the idea of a build for Snake wasn't completely my idea, as another member had mentioned it first.......
  16. Bob, I'm sure you're very aware of this, but please take extra precaution with the upper ball joints! I might would even have them welded in......
  17. When I was working full time as a painter, I Loved working on the old houses. All the trim work and decorative mouldings were always so nice, not like the cookie-cutter stuff used now...... One house we refinished had a brick floor in the main living room, it was done that way for the log fireplace, a preventative measure.......
  18. What would you guys think of there being a dedicated community build started in Snake's honor? I've been thinking and asking around as to what would be a good theme...... Pony cars? 1st gen Camaros? What do y'all think? I have a '69 Yenko Camaro on order, should be here first of next week...... As long as I could participate with that, whatever theme that's decided will be cool with me........
  19. By the time you hear the sirens, it's already too late...... one was in the morgue and the other in jail, one got twisted and the other's a waste........
  20. Pool water, when snorted, can have such harmful side effects, including but not limited to.... tennis elbow, phat beats, happy liver disease, a sense of oneness, and the desire to watch Chowder cartoons.....
