I've done things like that on a lot of my models.... Especially cars that I would want in real life! One such example is this Turbo Coupe T-Bird...... When I painted the steering rack, I wanted it to look like an aftermarket part, so I painted it aluminum and put just a dab of paint on the rack cylinder to maybe look like a label..... Carl, I like the way the two solos in this song sound so different from each other..... The first one is kinda lite and hopeful, then when the Doc gives him his meds the solo is more moody and dramatic!

There's other ways, such as spraying them with clear, but the film in the link is especially for this......

I've always thought that the perfect Heart song could be written with the acoustic intro to 'Crazy on You', then the song 'Barracuda', closing it with the fade out of 'Straight On'..... All those rock, especially 'Barracuda's riff...........
