Pete, man! I took your advice and downloaded the gimp program..... I read it's wiki before I did just to see if it would allow free-form drawing, and it does! I'm going through some tutorials on their site right now.......... Just thought you'd like to know I took your suggestion!

Final clear and polish is done! Somehow I got fish-eyes in the first try at the clear, ended up sanding it all down, respraying the red, THEN clearing again! Went over everything with Novus polish....... Looks like I need to clean just a bit of residue.....

There's a lot of eternal truths and ideas that are learned throughout your lifetime. One major one for me is this: If you're forcing something, you're doing it wrong........ That goes for everything, from mechanical work to building models, to relationships with other people. What would some of these ideas be to you guys?

Hopefully most of us here will! I just wish I could have done it sooner. The clinic that I will be getting it done thru was so backed up that they didn't have an opening for a few months.......
