JollySipper replied to Zippi's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
There's one WIP that I find quite excellent (and if I know the builder, it will always be a WIP....LoL! ) and that's Mr. Engwer's molded-in-blue Monogram '53 Chevy that's He's thrown a bunch of customizing at......... I saw it in the WIP forum's mock-up topic, I believe. Maybe He'll post a pic for us? -

JollySipper replied to JollySipper's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Hehehe............ Here's a couple of 'real' drawings that I've been working on! The BMW is supposed to be like a black n white pic with just the M colors showing........ Not sure I really pulled it off.... This ol pickup is just in pencil......... I'm getting to where I need glasses to do reading and drawing. Kinda why I like drawing in MS Paint, the infinite do-overs you hinted at...... -

Those are pretty creative! I still work on these as the mood strikes....... I have several I goof around on when I have time. Here's one I did some time back! Some would wonder where the inspiration for some of these came from! I wish I could find a decent program that you can draw from scratch with...... MS Paint is very limited by what you can do. -
Actually yesterday, but I went and got a library card for the local library. First book checked out was Lord of the Flies.......... It felt pretty good just to get out of my apartment, too......

Hello, Monica! I hope that I'm being of some help here.... Here is a link to a page on the IPMS site. You'll have to scroll down about 1/4 of the page to a heading called "The Modeling Basics". There is listed the things that judges take into consideration when choosing their favorites........ https://ipmsusa.org/about/national-contest-committee/ipmsusa-modelers-guide-ipms-contests/ipmsusa-modelers-guide-ipms-contests As far as a printed out check list, hopefully someone (maybe a judge, even) can help you with that..... Thanks for joining!

Steve, that interior looks great! My old man also has a survivor car with it's original interior........ I hope it's okay to show you here! It's a '73 Charger with an appearance package called the Aztec. I believe the package was just the bronze exterior paint, and the funky pattern on the seats......... -
