As a boy, I idolized the men that went to the moon. As an adult, I better understand just how dangerous their missions were. I respect and admire those who "came in peace for all mankind" in the name of science. RIP, Neil Armstrong.

Building old kits is...sometimes frustrating, but once I get past the warts that a vintage kit might have, it is usually rewarding.

I spent some time with my 12-year-old niece, Kara, building a SnapFast '53 Corvette (our second build together). The kid enjoyed it so much, she asked me if I could find a motorcycle or helicopter kit to build next time she's at my house. And she was genuinely surprised that MORE girls aren't building model kits! Imagine that!
