    Superb! Best colour ever!
  3. Superb build! These 1/32 Airfix kits are great, I have a few. Again, watching the Hornby series of TV programmes, this week it showed one of the female Airfix designers in the car driven by a rally driver and afterwards taking all of the measurements etc, to produce this kit. Hornby have at their HQ purchased a 3D printer to cut down times of producing prototypes prior to going into full production.
  4. Yes, thanks Andrew.
  5. Thanks Jim. On the driveway Andrew? It's a Renault Captur (no E at the end as it's French) ECO Diesel with key-less entry and start and an ECO switch on the floor, permanently switched on. 54mpg round town and 63mpg on a run. They call this type of car here a CrossOver. Diesel Fuel here at present 176.9pence per litre X 4 £7.08p per gallon!
  6. Thanks Pierre. Most if not all Tamaya kits are kerbside.
  7. The Tamiya Subaru Impreza, fits together in possibly the best, easiest form of any kit of it's type. Plus the original cars were built just 20 miles away at the Prodrive complex in Banbury Oxfordshire! This is, the tenth one in my collection.
  8. Just delivered by UPS from Holland, 4 Shapeways 3D printed, TRAX or two pairs as is the case, in 1/24-1/25 scale in white stiff plastic. I can now try to find the vehicle to fit them to, be it a Jeep, Smart Car or Meyers Manx! I've just realised that these are upside down! The largest wheel is the driven wheel from an axle!
  9. Superb! All I've got to say is 'OOPS'. I've nearly done that a few times! I was working as a temp at a warehouse and after training they let me loose with a fork lift truck. 'Pat' they said 'unload that pallet off the back of the small Luton van', a small box van in the UK. I didn't realise that the amount of stuff on the pallet was higher than I had lifted the roller shutter door on the van. I put the forks under the pallet started to reverse, caught the roller door and pulled it out of both side channels creasing the alloy badly! Very OOPS, first day! The warehouse manager came out from his office onto the yard smiled and shook my hand! The van was old and he couldn't justify the cost of a newer one, so as the damage would cost of fixing would cost more than the value of the van, they could have a newer one at last! So going from about to get the sack to a cheer from the warehouse staff!
  10. I found some TRAX short offroad tracks on Shapeways, so once they are delivered I can sort out what to attach them to.
  11. Thanks Dave, We only have one major annual event here in November each year. Local clubs are few and far between and are mostly military only, so I don't join them.
  12. Thanks David. I've looked at the WIP link, brilliant! I was looking at the shorter tank track units for cars/jeeps that have 4 units one for each corner, but for me as a pensioner at £45 that's expensive!
  13. Fantastically different! I can't find any WIP for this and have just one question. What scale size are the tracks that you used please?
  14. Thanks Michelle & David. I was afraid it would seen differently.
  15. Depicting an old VW van, suitably hand painted and decorated! I tried a scratchbuilt roof rack and changed it for just a slatted version!
  16. Same profile of smaller Tesla! They don't sell this version in the UK. In fact I've just gone to the website Toyota UK and they say that no new Prius models are coming to the UK!
  17. Yes the VW Cup! A ex-neighbour that owns Racelogic has a team car and has won various races. The Big Super Saloon was a contender in the day with V8 engined Vauxhalls, a DAF, Ford Cortina's. Anything went in Super Saloons!
  18. Whoa! I should have put dark glasses on to see your decalling! What a fantastic looking set!
  19. I used a pair of long nose pliers on my stand and most of the old stuff fell off.
