Great build

If you don't find it some companies offer a replacement policy for lost peices or parts that were somehow omitted during the injection molding process

Not all amt kits are bad, in fact I have had good results with most of the kits I have built. It really has to do with what kind of kits you build, most of the car kits go together well but I have had bad results with planes and semi trucks. It also has to do with the age of the kit you are building, I have better results with older amt kits in comparison to the newer kits

I just love these classic movie / show cars they have a very interesting look about them

I remember back in the nintys there were a series of go cart hot rods built by ed roth, recently I found a very odd and vintage engine that came off a david bradley tractor I plan on airbrushing it and building a go cart show rod around it. Does anyone remember these go carts or have a picture of them? One of them was a rat fink rod, another was based on a wheel barrel, anothe was based on a wagon. What I wanted to do was base mine around a sixties or fifties booster car seat.

I am also part of this contest and am thinking of posting multiple builds to the contest. But right now I am working on a li'l gypsy wagon kit, I plan on super detailing it and weathering it

What I have noticed was that some companies like Round Two were reissuing interesting kits at a rapid pace every quarter. But recently they have basically stopped reissuing all kits, now I rarely look to see if any interesting kits are coming. If I ran a model company I would get the customers' opinions', I would come onto sites like model car magazine, scale auto, or coffin corner and get their views on what should be reissued. Than I would make a decision based on feedback, or I would come on the model forums with a list of cars that are up for reissue and ask their opinions. I have found that in the past companies like Rc2 started to become unpopular after they kept reissuing kits that people weren't happy with.

This car reminds me of the zingers, I remember back in the day I had all of them but had to sell them when my collection got to large
