Ben....I do remember that trailer...seems like yesterday
Did Jamie use wood for the deck flooring?
They might be the planks I sent to him....Looks great from both of you...Kurt
Great turnout yesterday (04/21/2012)...as soon as it started, it seemed to be over...vendor area(s) awesome as usual, great time/great place to meet new and old friends...until next year, enjoy....Kurt

Ben....the acorn nuts and the door handles will make a nice additional to anyones build....
You can always send me a set?? Seriously
Very, very nice....Kurt
Jamie did an outstanding casting job as always...
Bill,
Nice work on the Bison.
I like you, have always admired these trucks from GM.
How was your kit mold wise?, Mine was terrible..and I had the first issue of the General. Nothing fit right
Again, nice logging rig/trailer
Kurt
All,
I am calling this one 99.9% completed. Other than the new grille coming, and hood hinge pins...finally...
What a kit this turned out to be...with all of it obsticles and challenges...This was a monumental task for me just to finish it personally...
Thank you to everyone who followed this build and all the great feedback....until next time...Happy modeling, Kurt

bandit1 and jekylljr
Both of you need to extend an apology to (Joe) Prostreet for hijacking his thread/topic......
Sean....please do not speak for/on (my behalf) in the future. Get a project completed for once and move on.

Update......hood is getting near completion...I would never ever recommend this model to no-one...even with all of the test fitting...warpage is still an issue., Kurt
Proto-type (photo etched) grille....thicker material is needed (new one being made)

Paint is starting to fly....cab and hood are finsihed...just needs polished and buffed out. And the the "trimming" begins....Kurt
OEM GM Silver Poly/Metallic

The Cannonball and the Lonestar, looks like to be from Jeff Harper...he is from up in that area...
He did a master for the Lonestar daycab as well.
