  1. Tim, The "old" iron you have been turning out lately is really cool...really like the red on this one Kurt
  2. Jim, I'll have a set reserved for you as promised. The "sheet" if squeezed will do 2 trucks...but extra decals are given in case one "goofs" up while applying them Kurt
  3. Guy's.... Some may know, some may not...for years I have been the one behind Scale Truck Detail Studios....Sourkraut has been distributing them, and recently Jerry (Modeltruckin.com) I decided to take back control, and re-direct my efforts, and go into a totally different direction...quality/distribution being (2) of them. Soon oversea's distributors will have access to the full database/offerings.... My current FOTKI link...more decal kits to be added http://public.fotki....-truck-detail-/ And something new, I decided to finish today in between working on the General....these will be available within the next few weeks... Any questions or needs, please feel free to PM me...Thank you, Kurt
  4. Chris....contact me, for the decals you are looking for...Sourkraut may have them he may not. Thanks, Kurt
  5. Dave, superb workmanship Looks cool up against the IH. Kurt
  6. Bob.... Polished aluminum was used for the tank and the battery box lid....no clear coat....that's a (no-no) with Alclad...let it sit for a few days...and then polish it up. Works everytime. Pete exhaust shield is just for "mock" up purposes...the real shield's are off to the side for now. Kurt
  7. Well, the order from KFS arrived yesterday...worked on one rear tire assembly (heavily modeified), and got the front tires done. 3 more "rears" to go. Kurt Before and after
  8. Just a little update....still waiting for a few parts...should have a rolling chassis soon. The finished "pile" is starting to grow. Kurt
  9. Dennis, Outstanding.... Kurt
  10. Here is a new Granite, and a HD Titan, I took pictures from last years Macungie show...Kurt
  11. Gary, does not offer the "Granite" no one at this time has one of these to offer.... The closest you will find is the Mack CH , once done by Tim Sherman, now being offer by Eric (Porky's) Kurt
  12. Gordon.... When I aquired the kit several months ago...it was from a local estate auction...the older gentleman passed away...of all the kits I got...he painted the cab and hood assemblies....this particular one was red in color...I then stripped it. The AMT General kit has always had warpage issues...I got most of the parts pretty well straightened out...the cab was pretty bad....if you have an extra General cab...I would be interested in talking to you. I did find a Bison cab...new, the cab mold, was not up to my minimum standards to even use...Let me know. Thanks, Kurt I am good on the hood.
  13. Great score...there is alot of potential there Kurt
  14. Bob....Thanks The rods are for the radiator side supports. Kurt
  15. Update 1/9/2012 Finally some primer is flying....should have a rolling chassis in the next few weeks....Kurt Add a modified front hub assembly
  16. Tony, Superb, Craftsmanship Awesome indeed. Kurt
  17. Dennis, this is really coming along nicely, Kurt
  18. Bob... That's a nice clean build Kurt
  19. Looks like "little" Jimie...has a new ride... Kurt
  20. Joe...Thank you, Here is the dump trailer from GW Trucks...it is based off of a Dorsey model...a friend of mine built it, Kurt Length wise..it is about 3/4's to mine.
  21. Joe....from a picture...all that was used was styrene plastic....from the ground up. I did use Plaskit trailer axles...and Mo'Luminum tires. No one currently has a trailer in resin close to this...but do contact Gary Wallace (GW Trucks)...you wouldn't be disappointed on what he has to offer in resin. Kurt
  22. Gordon....the J&J trailer was a one off, that I scratch built. Thanks, Kurt
