  1. Soggy rhymes with foggy which makes me think of London which reminds me of...oh, never mind.
  2. Period hot-rods and racing cars from the '40s through the '70s float my boat.
  3. Cast your fate to the wind...
  4. Taiwan makes a lot of stuff, some of it really good, some not so hot.
  5. Models of the female variety can sometimes have "difficult" personalities based on a lifetime of getting their own way because of their looks, and some can be sweet, virtuous, kind, and caring; it's always best to judge individuals on their own merits.
  6. Fertilizer should only be applied by highly trained professionals, because it's just like rocket-science, and way beyond the ken of regular civilians.
  7. "Regurgitates opinions and remarks of others without conscious thought" is the definition of "rebleats" in Bill's Abridged Dictionary.
  8. Coffee is one of mankind's greatest inventions, or discoveries, or whatever; I haven't had my coffee yet.
  9. County Line Road was one of the hot spots fer drag racing back when dinosaurs walked the Earth and gas was a quarter a gallon. SIDEBAR: If anyone needs proof of just how stupidly spewing misinformation Google's "AI Overview" is, read this: "Gas prices have fluctuated over time, and in the 1930s, gas prices were as low as 20 cents per gallon. In fact, some say that relatives of older people may have paid a quarter for a gallon of gas."
  10. 80s influenced synthwave makes good driving music.
  11. In Dr. Leary's case, he may be on the inside looking out...
  12. Pleasant little 1963 film about how the guy who brings a sad old car back to life gets the girl (sorta).
  13. It refuses to go away, but that's just the way it is...depending of course on what your definition of "is" is.
  14. Wannabe dweebiges seem to be everywhere, but they don't wanna put in the sweat and pain to really make it.
  15. Every time I think I'm done, somebody on here builds something I didn't know existed, or I get an idea for using parts from a kit I already have on something else, so I HAVE to buy more. It's a drug, man.
  16. Not to sound like the past-it geezer who constantly harps on how much better things used to be...which I unashamedly am...but when you have a generation whose mommas didn't bother to teach them how to cross a street, do laundry, make a sandwich or change from a dollar, or tell time on a non-digital clock, it's really no surprise that "common courtesy" is in as short supply as common sense and what used to be known as "common knowledge", you know, like where Europe is on a map.
  17. Yup, been there multiple times. Glad you're getting stronger, feeling better.
  18. Daily reflection on what we have to be thankful for has been shown to have positive health effects.
  19. Aggravate me with your stupidity, incompetence, illogical responses, and poor critical-thinking skills, please, over and over and over, until I just walk away in disgust.
  20. That's a good basis for another flavor of Kurtis. I have a glooey one floating around somewhere too...but I didn't know it was Ideal. Thanks.
  21. "Environment" gets blamed for lotsa stuff that's genetic.
  22. "Veteran" can just as well apply to someone who spent his entire time in walking the colonel's dog and picking up his cleaning as someone who's been tested in combat. Happy Fourth, boys and girls geezers and geezerettes.
  23. Lips...oh geez I love beautiful women's lips.
