  1. Very nice indeed. I could definitely live with that. The only things I don't like about T-buckets are the lack of front rubber and brakes, but of course you have to go that way to get "the look", and the high seating position most of 'em end up with...sitting on it instead of in it...and fixable.
  2. Beautifully built, and a testament to how good that antediluvian AMT kit really is when it's in the hands of a skilled modeler.
  3. VERY nice, and a convincing argument for Alclad.
  4. Tongue in the deli case never did much for my appetite.
  5. "Show me the man, and I'll show you the crime" said a famous "leader".
  6. Internet "experts" very often judge the veracity of the garbage they spout by how many times it's been rebleated previously, with no regard for or understanding of what's actually the truth.
  7. Here's a bunch more... https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/the-scrambler-1960-gmc-302-12-port-nitro-fed.737695/ EDIT: It looks to me as though your intake and exhaust ports should come out of the black part of the engine you've built, and perhaps you might fiddle with the proportions some. Right now, your exhaust pipes are coming out of what should actually be the top of the block.
  8. You're in the ballpark. I haven't really been looking, but I came up with another image (see link below for more). EDIT: The source calls this a "Wayne F Horning 12 Port Head"... and as Mr. Fisher subsequently bought the tooling from Mr. Horning, it stands to reason that this is also what may incorrectly be referred to as a "Fisher" crossflow head.
  9. Celsius is the opposite of gesundheit, according to online sources.
  10. "Lad" is one of those words you have to be really careful about using today.
  11. Yup. 100% correct. Presnell's right too. Unfortunately, the trailing links are kinda visually garbled with the anti-roll bar, and this is the kind of jumbled mess you get when the tooling designers don't know what the parts they're trying to represent actually do.
  12. Own your mistakes, and don't make excuses or try to find someone else to blame.
  13. As that particular windshield is a single-curvature design (not compound), it's far easier to form one that actually fits from clear PET or acetate or styrene than trying to do a gasket to hide the poor kit piece fit.
  14. Section, chop, and channel are the big three custom modifications.
  15. Tune a piano you can, but tune a fish you cannot, though you can can tuna fish but you can't can a piano.
  16. Eye agree. (But I think you need a giant gila monster )
  17. Earth is kinda like the Garden of Eden, but with idiots.
  18. Nowadays, when I listen to the news, I often pine for yesterday.
  19. A few days back. I saw a set of printed headers like that on eBay when I was looking for something else, but I didn't flag 'em. Maybe I can find 'em again...
  20. Somebody's sure to chime in and explain to us that we're all too stupid to grasp "logistics".
